This trip was run by two of our newer marshals from ME 4x4 and proved to be quite a demanding one due to the number of people who wanted to join.
Fortunately we had several more marshals who pitched in at the last minute including myself as I had delayed my trip to Saudi (because of work related matters of course).
Meeting Point
Chris gave the sermon on the mount or in this case the tailboard, and we set off in three groups of seven with three marshals in each group.
I took up sweep position in a group lead by Henk comprising of four Pajeros, two Jeeps and myself in the Defender.
Additionally we would also be testing different types of sand ladders supplied by members as well as AAA of Dubai and ACE Hardware.
