Climate: Ukraine has a mostly temperate continental climate other than it's Mediterranean climate on the southern Crimean coast. The precipitation can be disproportionally distributed, greater in the north and the west, less in the east and southwest. Winters vary from cool along the Black Sea to cold farther inland. Summers are warm across the greater portion of the country, yet hot in the south.
