Administration Panel for BAB.stats Chronos ServerPrefaceThis is the manual of Administration Panel that comes with BAB.stats Chronos Server. The Admin Panel is used to add servers to BAB.stats, edit players, ranks, squads and so on. In order to use Admin Panel you must login first. Login name and passwords are defined in "config.php". To use the Administration Panel you must point your browser to http://www.your_domain.com/stats_directory/admin.php The main difference in Admin Panel used in Chronos and in previous version of BAB.stats is that this one is built-in the stats pages. That is, you can edit the player while viewing his stats, use player search, sorting, filters by squad/server/gametype, and so on. The usage is straight forward, for example, if you want to delete stats of some map in some server, you just go to "Map Stats" page, then click on map name you want, get to the page where details on the map are displayed, and find everything you can do with the map at the bottom of the page. ServersAdding at least one server is the first thing you must do after installing BAB.stats! When stats are uploaded to FTP by BAB.stats Uploader, the import script first checks from wich game server the stats came and then, if the server was added in Admin Panel before, these stats are imported to database. Server is also used for game server status reporting to the stats page. The most important thing in server is Server Identification Code (Server ID Code). Server ID Codes for all servers must be different. It can be anything you want, for example "GaegadG5234i". Server Name is just a label for your server, for example "Nick's Server" (i.e it has nothing to do with the server name displayed on NovaWorld!). Now, when the server is added, you must specify Server ID Code in the Uploader. Thats all! SquadsYou must specify few things for a squad - Name, Tag and Website URL. To add a squad, go to "Squad Stats" page, to edit some squad - click on squad name. PlayersTo edit some player you must first access his stats page. Then, at the bottom you will find everything you can do with that player. For example, to delete his stats for selected gametype/server. Deleting stats for all servers or all gametypes will not delete the player itself, so you can use that to reset his stats. To completely delete the player from database you must click "Delete Player" button. You can aswell rename the player. Unlike in previous version, you must specify unique name for him - there is no possibility to merge stats of 2 players. Instead, you can define an alias name for player. If player plays under any name that is in his alias list, his name will be converted, and stats tracked to the current account. You can, aswell, delete player alias any time. RanksIn Administration Panel you can easily edit player ranking. Rank Name - self explainatory. Image - path to rank image. It can be either relative: rank_images/img.gif or absolute: http://www.server.com/stats/rank_images/img.gif Rating - the number of rating points the player must get in order to achieve a rank. Ranking system can be changed any time after stats were installed. If you edit ranking system player ranks will be changed accordingly. AwardsAlmost the same as Ranks, except that some information provided for each award is different. "Field" is player stats for which award is given, for example, if it is "time_played", player will be awarded for the time he played on all the servers. The time or any other value must be given in "Value" field. If player has more than in "Value" field, he is awarded. Awards can be changed at any time. MapsIn the map stats page you can delete map stats for selected server, completely delete the map, upload map image/thumbnail. I recommend to resize images/thumbnails before uploading! WeaponsIn the weapon stats page you can delete weapon stats for selected servergametype, and completely delete the weapon. |
