Heres my page dedecated to my favorite athelete of all time, Jerry Rice. In my opinion on the date of October 13, 1962 the best Wide Reciever of all time was born. And not many people will argue against that subject. By the time he retires, he will have every recieving record known to man. He has more touchdowns then any other player in the history of the NFL.

Rice went to college at Missisippi Valley State. He set numerouse recieving records as he cought 310 passes for 4856 yards. He didn't stop the production when he advanced to the NFL.

Rice was the third WR taken in the 1985 draft (after the Jets Al Toon and the Bengals Eddie Brown, whom have both sinse retired) and the 16th over all. In his rookie season he broke 49ers rookie recieving yards record with 927 recieving yards. He only cought 49 passes that year, with an average per catch of 18.9 and 3 TD's. In one game against the Rams, he caught 10 passes for a 49er record 241 yards.

As Jerry continues on his astrological pace threw the record books. He still amazes fan after fan everyday. With his willpower and strength. Jerry continued his caos on deffinces untill the year of 1997. Jerry went down for the first time due to injury. He had not missed a football game becouse of injury sinse he was in high school.

Jerry has fully recovered from both of his injuries on his left knee (different injuries). He has lost a step in his age plus the injury. But he is still a force to be reconed with. And no matter how old or injured or crippled he gets, he will allways be my hero.

Now some links to other sites and things about Jerry Rice.
