Nel quarto mistero della gioia si contempla La presentazione di Gesu` al Tempio

  • Lucifer:

So Jesus is presented in the Temple to old Simeon. Where is the power here? The first born, a tiny child, like any other tiny child is dedicated to the Lord according that foolish law written in the Bible.

  • God:

Jesus is recognised as the Son of God. He is not just a little baby, but He is the Son of the Almighty, the One who came to bring Salvation. Are you saying there is no power in this?

  • Lucifer:

So, he is declared as the son of god by an old fool. Who is going to believe in him?

  • God:

The mother. She, more and more realises that it is not just in her mind that Jesus is the Son of the Almighty. Her inner thoughts and beliefs are emphasised by the words of Simeon, a most Holy Man. She knows that she actually gave birth to the Son of God and that she is raising the Son of God.

  • Lucifer:

She also finds out the sinister fate that he is going to face. She is destroyed about what she hears. Wouldn`t have been better to make her forget that she gave birth to the Son of God?

  • God:

When people choose to do my will, there is nothing quiet in their life any longer.

  • Lucifer:

And why not? Aren`t you about peace? Isn`t just me, the one who creates chaos?

  • God:

You are quite right. I am about peace, but in order to achieve peace a chaos will develop.

  • Lucifer:

    And why?

  • God:

Because of you, Lucifer. Because of your interference. You hate my people and you disturb them endelessly. You try by offering… what you don`t have… and of course to achieve what you don`t have… in order not to loose face… you have to steal, consequently … to deceive people… making them believe that what you are doing is right. You are the Archi-Schemer… a Smiling one.

  • Lucifer:

They don`t have to believe me. They can still follow you.

  • God:

…You confuse them till you get their reaction.

  • Lucifer:

They don`t have to follow me. The can still follow you.

  • God:

And some of them do. And those are the ones who have to endure the hardship that you present to them. Hence the chaos. He who wants to follow me, will be attacked by you mercilessly and only with the strength of a Saint, he can follow me and deny you.

  • Lucifer:

Where is the power in a defenceless child whose life is predicted to be a most painfull life?

  • God:

The power is in being told. In being made aware of his path of life. In being acknowledged that you are there to entrap Him in every step, including offering to Him the treasures that his Father created and gave to Him, if he kneels to adore you. The power is in the knowledge that you are there, and consequently attempt to learn ways to avoid you.

  • Lucifer:

If he is God, why does he want to fight with me at all. Why doesn`t he use his power to put me under his feet, and let me be done with.

  • God:

Lucifer, Jesus came to the world for a purpose. He came, not because He is a powerless Child, but because he wants to save humanity. And, the way he chooses to save humanity is to show man how to save himself… as a free man, with free will, free choices. He wants to save humanity as a man can save himself and not as a God can save him. He wants to show to man that man has been given equal power to God, and thus he is able to raise up and save himself. The power, Lucifer, is that Jesus, the defenceless Child, will show man how to hold on to that power, how not to loose it by giving it to you.

  • Lucifer:

Is that human to say "I give you all this..." and then add "Don`t touch this, don`t touch that."? That is why people follow me. It is too hard to follow you.

  • God:

Whatever I give, whatever I tell them to do or not to do, it is all just, Lucifer. I do not give any thing impossible to do to my people Lucifer.

  • Lucifer:

You expected your Son to die on a cross. You call this an easy task to do?

  • God:

Lucifer, don`t forget that Jesus is Me, and I am Him. And, Lucifer, yes, I am ready to do any thing for my people? They are worth my utmost sacrifice.

  • Lucifer:

Then, you expect them to do the same for you?

  • God:

If they are mine, they will do it without questioning, for that is our nature, that is the extent of our love. To sacrifice our life for one another.

  • Lucifer:

Who would want to do this? Not every one is Jesus.

  • God:

Yet, quite a few Saints died not to deny my name, not to disobey my commands. You know that very well Lucifer, don`t you? Despite the hardship that you create so that they will follow you, many of them endured any hardship and still remained faithful to me. This is the purpose of my coming on earth as a human being, to show to humanity that although things seem impossible, there is nothing impossible, anything can be achieved even in the worst possible conditions. See, Lucifer, the power lies in the knowledge of what is ahead.

  • Lucifer:

    Nobody knows what is ahead!

  • God:

You are wrong. That is what you are trying to convince people with. People will not know what is ahead, only if they choose not to want to know. What is ahead, Lucifer, is hope… Hope that whatever tomorrow will bring, I will be there for them and therefore there is no need to worry. What is ahead, Lucifer, is that the sky will still be there tomorrow, no matter what tomorrow may bring, and just a look at the sky will show the majestic power I have. And with that majestic power surrounding them, hovering over them, how could they possibly be afraid of any event that tomorrow brings. Jesus, Lucifer, is presented to Simeon and is recognised as the power. The power that people had been waiting for. A power that was rising from poverty, to show that the least can rise to be the first. A power that ended in crucifixion to show that no sacrifice is big enough to declare love for one another. A power that kills death and achieves life, eternal life. Simeon, Lucifer, recognised straight away, that the power that man had lost through Adam`s sin, in the birth of that tiny little Child, was given back to him, and it is now up to him to recognise that … to recognise that he has the power... The point is what will he do? Will he plead ignorance and give it in present to you, or will he recognise himself as the king who dominated the centre of earth, king of a kingdom donated to him by his Almighty Father in Heaven, and fight as a soldier of Christ to hold on to what is divinely his.
