Lucifer: It is getting all boring. What is the story now. So Mary goes to visit Elizabeth, what is the big mistery there?
God: Nothing much, except that Mary is recognised as the Mother of God.

God: If that is what you want to believe. However, don`t you think there is some kind of coincidence in the fact that Mary chooses Elizabeth`s place as a possible shelter for herself and her unborn child? You do know that Elizabeth is the mother of John the Baptist, don`t you Lucifer. And you also probably know that John was the precursor of Jesus?
Lucifer: Yes, yes. He was the crazy man preaching in the desert. And Mary chosen Elizabeth because she was her last card. Nobody wanted her.
God: Quite right. Nobody wanted her. Not even Joseph who saved her from the stones…
Lucifer: So. Where else could she go? Elizabeth was her last card.
God: And quite a good one too. Elizabeth knew that Mary was the Mother of God because she already had been blessed by God. She was expecting a child herself, in her old age. She saw the truth before anyone else did. She greeted her with “The Lord is with you. You are blessed amongst all women…” As you can see John started his preaching quite early. He recognised Jesus before anyone could even see Him. Through his mother, he spoke laud and clear. You see, Lucifer, Mary needed comfort, for nobody understood her. And the only comfort that she could get would have been if someone would have recognised her real status… if someone would have said … it is real, what God told you, it is real. God does exist. So I needed to find her a companion that would have assured her that she was following my wishes. Remember, she was only a young girl… and very quickly she saw everyone disappearing from her life…
Lucifer: So where is the power in all that?
God: That I was always there. That I was watching every step she was making and that I was enchanted by everything she was doing. Because her ideal and mine coincided I was there to give her what she had conquered in her battle of letting others go and allowing my will to be done. I was there to call her My Queen. I was there to give her the legal rights of possession of all Creation, all Redemption and all Heaven above.
Lucifer: It didn`t seem so to me? She seemed just like pregnant girl.
God: A pregnant girl with a big burden in her heart. Joseph, the love of her life had abandoned her because he didn`t believe her. She wasn`t burned because he believed her being a whore, she was more burdened that he was not able to believe in the marvellous mistery that was happening to her. That was her major burden. And that is what is still her major burden. The unbelievers, Lucifer, the unbelievers. She could not understand how, what for her was so simple, for others was so outrageously difficult. People had been waiting for the Messiah for thousands of years, yet, when she announced to every one that there He was, they turned away. She only started to relax when Joseph finally not only turned up, but eventually achieved the wisdom of recognising who she was and who was the child she was carrying.
Lucifer: So if she can`t relax because people do not believe, where is the power? Doesn`t that make her a nervous wreck?
God: No. Because her great belief in God makes her understand that people will surrender and will believe… because to her it is so real… it cannot possibly be that people will forever be blind, be seduced forever by you. That is her power… a power to pass on to people… to believers… because once people believe, they `ll inherit the power. A living proof was how Elizabeth`s husband lost his voice… He could not believe that Elizabeth was able to have a child at her old age. He laughed at my words, Lucifer. He laughed… And I made him loose his voice, until the day he saw his son. Elizabeth believed in my words… and she was blessed with a child… and what a child… you don`t like him very much, Lucifer, do you?

God: He was the very man who spoke aloud and clear that a man should not sleep with his brother`s wife. He tried to enforce my Law and for this he paid with his life. His head was given in present to a young girl who was exposing her naked body to the emperor.
Lucifer: Well if you have such power, why did you allow him to be killed.
God: Because the power many times increases when death is involved. People were listening to John, but weren`t changing their habits. Even with Jesus, things were the same. People would listen, but they weren`t changing their filthy habits. Hence the need of being crucified or being killed as John. Sometimes death is an awakening call. People finally understand what is important and where the power really lies. The power is not in the riches, in wealth. The power is in observing the Law of God, because God is the giver of everything. Elizabeth and Mary were blessed because they believed right away, they had no second thoughts. They followed the rules of the Creator and were overjoyed of their blessings even before they saw the fruit of such blessings.
