Xiao Yan Zi, however was still stack in Huang Cung (Hoang Cung), but she now settled in Jing Yang Gong (Cung Canh Vuong) with her beloved husband Yong qi (Vinh Ky). The two of them grown closer to each other, as they understand how important to have their beloved with them side by side.

Since the two ge ge (cac cac) had left, Shu Fang Zhai (Khau phuong chai) became a lot quieter. So during the daytime, all of the maids and eunuchs decided to come and take care of Xiao Yan Zi in Jing Yang Gong. And for the little parrot that Yong Qi brought for Xiao Yan Zi, also been shipped to Jing Yang Gong, hanging at the door. As Xiao Yan Zi, always love to talk or more like argued with the silly bird. But it was that most treasured things to her, since it was a gift from Yong Qi

Lao Fuo Ye, had accepted Xiao Yan Zi and Zi Wei, but she also tried hard to change Xiao Yan Zi to be a more mature lady, as she is now a wife of a prince, who have a very good chance to become the crowned prince. Since Xiao Jian had the permission of the Emperor to go in the palace for visiting Xiao Yan Zi, there were sometime he met up with Qing’er and the two enjoy each other company very much.

A new story began after five months, when Xiao Yan Zi together with the other were aloud to visit Hoi Bing Lau often to see their old friends, Jinsuo was pregnant, Liu Qing was over joy of the news. Liu Hong was still helping out with her brother.

Then one day, Xiao Yan Zi & Yong Qi, together with ErKang & Ziwei, were enjoying there walked through the busy market street. But unaware, Xiao Yan Zi’s moneybag had been stolen. But soon a matured man, who chased after the thief, to get the moneybag returned it to her. As always Xiao Yan Zi was very thankful and friendly, she found out that the man was just a visitor in Beijing, and looking for a place to stay. So the gangs took him to Hoi Bing Lau, to thanks him and also help him to hide a room as well. It was not until Xiao Jian met that man, that Xiao Yan Zi realized that the new friend was actually her and Xiao Jian’s cousin. Named Fang Lau.

Fang Lau’s parents unfortunately had pasted away at the very young age, when Fang Lau was just a baby. So Mr Fang Zan Hang (Xiao Jian and Xiao Yan Zi’s father), brought his nephew home, and treated him as his own son. Fang Lau, grew up to be very talented man, as he just like Xiao Jian, expert in both writing and fighting. Mr Fang Zan Hang, was a Han, during his time in Han Zhu (hometown), he had secretly organized a group to fight back the Manchurians. Fang Lau was the message sender, and Xiao Jian’s adopted father, Mr Chu was also belonged as one of the members. But unfortunately for Fang Zan Hang, as one of his rebellious poems got lost and brought back to Beijing, where it was handed in to the Emperor. Qian Long immediately sent out an order to execute the Fang’s family and named them as be-traitors.

Sine the horror news happened in a sudden, the Fang family was not prepared so at the last minute. Xiao Jian (Fang Yan), and Xiao Yan Zi (Fang Ci), with Fang Lau were secretly taken away to Da Ly, to the Chu’s house (Xiao Jian and Fang Lau’s adopted father). The nanny carried Fang Ci, but while escaping the nanny got lost, and that brought Fang Ci to Beijing, and became Xiao Yan Zi today.

While Fang Yan and Fang Lau, stayed in the Chu’s family for 20 years. Then Fang Yan found out some news about his long lost sister, now is living in Beijing, so he requested his adopted father, for him to go and find her, and he will tried to think of a way to revenged for the Fang family while he was in Beijing. Fang Lau wanted to go, but it the case of “the least people to check around, the better” so Fang Lau stayed back, while Fang Yan changed his named

to Xiao Jian, began the first journey down Beijing, and there later he found Xiao Yan Zi.

Last time, when the young group were making the trip to run away from the palace. Xiao Jian had sent the message back to Fang Lau, that he had found Fang Ci, and will take her back to Da Ly. But the planned turned, as Fang Ci got married and turned back to live in Beijing with her husband Yong Qi. Fang Lau on hearing the news that Fang Yan wanted to stay back in Beijing, so he quickly made his way down Beijing to find Fang Yan, and to remind him of the task to kill the Emperor to revenged for the Fang’s family, for the Hans people.

At Hoi Bing Lau, Fang Lau met Fang Yan, now know as Xiao Jian, and also the young cheerful Fang Ci, now know as Xiao Yan Zi, with her husband Yong Qi. Xiao Jian was happy to see a good friend, but he was also affair if Fang Lau found out about Xiao Yan Zi and Yong Qi true identity as Ah-ge and ge ge in the palace. On understanding that Fang Lau will not let it go easy like he did. Because when the Fang’s family got kill, Fang Lau was more matured then Xiao Jian, so he put a lots more responsible, on being a Han should destroyed the Manchurians, and should killed the Emperor for repay on his beloved uncle’s death.

Fang Lau was never known of the true identity of Xiao Yan Zi and Yong Qi. He only wanted Xiao Jian to take action in coming to the palace and kill Qian Long with him. He understand Xiao Yan Zi (Fang Ci) was now married, and she belonged to her husband, so Fang Lau let Xiao Yan Zi out of the plan. Xiao Jian had let the idea to kill Qian Long by pasted him long ago, since he decided to come back to Beijing with Xiao Yan Zi, cause he can see Qian Long was a good Emperor, and that Xiao Yan Zi need to be with Yong Qi. But Fang Lau refused to take in that Qian Long is good. With Xiao Jian rejection to go with the plan. Fang Lau took it by himself, with his highly Kung Fu, he had planned to assassin Qian Long on the day he tour Beijing to go to the Temple, with his children.

After the ceremony, Lao Fuo Ye, decided to stayed back at the temple over night, so Qing’er was beside her, Huang Hua, and Ling Fe, also stayed back to keep Lao Fuo Ye company. Qian Long and the young gang all went home first.

On the way home, Qian Long sat in a carriage with drove along first in line, with more then ten guard beside him, and about five more front and back. Xiao Yan Zi and Zi Wei both were in their individual carriages, behind Qian Long. Yong Qi ride his house, in front of Xiao Yan Zi’s carriage, and Er Kang was in front of Zi Wei. Suddenly an assassin flew right in to Qian Long’s carriage to play the attack, but as the imperial guards were out number compared to one assassin. The guys finally captured under Wu ah ge and Er Kang’s martial art combined. Due to the shock, Xiao Yan Zi and Zi Wei both got out of their carriages. When the blind fold from the assassin guards reviewed. All four, Xiao Yan Zi, Yong Qi, Zi Wei and Er Kang, turned terrified shock, as they recognized the assassin guy was no other then their new friend Fang Lau. Xiao Yan Zi newly found cousin. But they were not the only one to get the shocked, as Fang Lau was stunned as well, on noticing Xiao Yan Zi belong to a Manchurians family, and her husband Yong Qi, titled as Wu ah ge, the emperor’s son. Qian Long didn’t aware of the changing expression on the four faces, as he angrily order to sent the guy to jail, he will go through the case the next day.

The next day, when Yong Qi had gone to court, Xiao Yan Zi sneaked out of the palace, and came looking for Zi Wei at Fu’s resident. Then they went off the find Xiao Jian. Xiao Yan Zi was sure Xiao Jian must know something about what Fang Lau was intending to do.

Xiao Jian waited at Hoi Bing Lau since the morning, as he know the day would come, and there was no excuse for him rather then to tell the truth to Xiao Yan Zi. That their parents were Han, who planned to take over the Manchurians people. But unfortunately the plan reached Qian Long, so the Fang families were executed. Fang Lau wanted to take revenged, that why he went to attacked the Emperor. Xiao Yan Zi and Zi Wei both were shock at the news. Xiao Yan Zi was the more suffer, as she realized the painful debt between her and the Emperor. Her Huang ah ma, had killed her parents. But she known deep in her heart, she will never able to kill Qian Long, since he been caring and loving her so much. Not to mention about her most beloved husband, Yong Qi, who will properly go insane when he find out the truth. But for now, both Zi Wei and Xiao Yan Zi had no idea on how to deal with the problem, how to saved Fang Lau.

At the court, Qian Long was about to make the decision together with a strong agreement of all the other magistrates, to execute the assassin, as he clamed it was only himself involved. But then Xiao Yan Zi ran to the court, using the first wish on her golden amendment that the Emperor had grant for her and Zi Wei three wishes. They can even saved some body life. But Xiao Yan Zi was saving the wrong person, as she created a major frustration among the court, from the Emperor himself, to Yong Qi, Er Kang and all of the other magistrates, none would have any idea on why Xiao Yan Zi would do such things like that. Qian Long decided to pause back the decision as he summoned Xiao Yan Zi, with Yong Qi, Er Kang and Zi Wei to his study room and settle the matter privately.

Xiao Yan Zi, had no choice to tell the truth about her identity. She is a Hans and her father was running a rebelled campaign to fight back with the Manchurians, and that’s why he was killed by the Emperor, 20 years ago. And now Fang Lau was a nephew revenging for his uncle. Qian Long froze with shocked. As Yong Qi refused to believe in the story, but Er Kang then assure that was the truth. Finally Yong Qi accepted painfully.

Qian Long would sense that things would not be at ease from here, as Xiao Yan Zi had created a whole scene at the court. He doesn’t mind if Xiao Yan Zi came from a be-traitor family or whether she was a Han or not. He still loved her as his daughter. He also understood that Xiao Yan Zi was innocent from the whole story, even now she knew the truth, she would not do anything to harmed him, or Yong Qi. But he known for sure Lao Fuo Ye will not let it go easy, when she found out. Qian Long ordered everyone to go home and keep quite, as he will try to free Fang Lau as Xiao Yan Zi requested.

But on one day, Qing’er were discussing the situation of Lao Fuo Ye to Zi Wei and Er Kang at the Fu resident. Xiao Yan Zi and Yong Qi came in to surprise them, as they heard Zi Wei was pregnant. But instead Xiao Yan Zi over heard the story, and realizing her shoes in the palace at the moment. Lao Fuo doesn’t wanted her to be near QianLong or Yong Qi, she will find a reason to put her out of the palace. All the magistrate also did not pleased with Xiao Yan Zi, since she begged for the release of Fang Lau, more or less people would thing that she had involvement with the assassin. Yong Qi was beside Xiao Yan Zi, on noticed to truth had been heard, he quickly take her back to Jing Jang Cung to comforted her.

But no matter how Yong Qi talked to her, she understand that it was only his words. So for one night, Xiao Yan Zi decided to leave the palace for good. As she didn’t want, because of protecting her that Yong Qi and Qian Long had to fight against with Lao Fuo Ye and the magistrates court. She kissed Yong Qi good bye whiles he asleep, and used her golden amendment to get out of the palace quietly.

Yong Qi gone lost on the missing of Xiao Yan Zi again. But he knows this time Xiao Yan Zi won’t be back, because she understood what she was doing. So Yong Qi begged Qian Long and Lao Fuo Ye to request a noticed to summoned Xiao Yan Zi back to the palace, cause it’s the only way she may come back. But Lao Fuo Ye immediately stopped Qian Long as she felt Xiao Yan Zi had done the right thing. But will Yong Qi be happy still with out Xiao Yan Zi! He was losing his soul, his heart and his life as everything seem to collapsed. So finally Yong Qi greeted Lao Fuo Ye and Qian Long for him to leave the palace, he refused the title of a prince and to be a commoner, so he can be with Xiao Yan Zi. Lao Fuo Ye was shocked, but Qian Long had been preparing for the day to come. He gave permission for Yong Qi to leave the palace, despised Lao Fuo Ye’s disallowing.

After Xiao Yan Zi left the palace, she decided to go and stay at Hoi Bing Lau, as Xiao Jian and Fang Lau will get ready to bring her back to Da Ly and never returned to Beijing again. But soon Yong Qi came looking for her, and told her that he had gave up his title, how he only wanted to be her husband and will be beside her all the time. Xiao Yan Zi was touched, as she led into Yong Qi’s arms for support. Even god had set a lot unlucky things in her life, but one big fortune that she had was to receive such a great love from Yong Qi. And they decided to go to Da Ly and build a new family together.

Qian Long had heard the news of Yong Qi and Xiao Yan Zi, going to leave for Da ly. He came to Hoi Bing Lau as the last time to see his beloved children. Xiao Yan Zi was mournful when she said good bye to Qian Long, even known he killed her parents, but she never see him as enemy, she just couldn’t. Xiao Yan Zi, returned the golden amendment to Qian Long, as she had granted one wish, that to release Fang Lau. Now her last two wishes were for Qian Long not to hate Yong Qi and her for leaving the palace. A lot of emotions aroused as all of them spending the last night together, Zi Wei and Xiao Yan Zi were the most sobered, as they now have to be apart for a very long time. Not to mention the feeling between Qing’er and Xiao Jian, everything had to be put back, as they realized Lao Fuo Ye will never except Xiao Jian.

Not long after, the palace announced the death of Wu ah ge, and Huan Zhu ge ge due to illness. That’s left a normal Yong Qi and Xiao Yan Zi, happily ride their house running toward the road to Da Ly, to have their peaceful life together. Behind them followed by Xiao Jian, with a lot of mixed emotion, as he know its would be hard to forget Qing’ Er. Behind that, were Fang Lau and Liu Hong riding the house carriage. Even known Fang Lau was only been in Beijing for a short time. But it was long enough for him and her to develop a love bonding. And off they all went riding to their dream place, to fulfill their destiny.

Xiao Jian, had become a Martial art master, owning a big school in the local town. He was highly respected in the community for been braved and honored. But through out that many years, he was still single, at the thoughts of Qing’Er never left his mind.

Fang Lau and Liu Hong, on the other hand was a more happier couple, as Liu Hong followed her brother’s step. To open a motel and restaurant for long journey traveler to stopped by. They just celebrated their first son’s 12 months old birthday.

But what more attractive, was a little cottage house lying on top of a green grass hill. It was a distance away from the local market, so everything seems more quite and peaceful up there. Take a more careful look at the warmth house. In front had a little garden, where used to raise the chicken. Just one of the normal habits of a commander’s family

Suddenly, crawling out from one side of the, chicken’s haze shelter, appeared a young lady, as she bend low, looking from side to side while calling out softly.

-Cuck…Cuck…Cuck….She was looking for her roster, somehow been disappeared since the morning. With her big innocent eyes, and red rose lip, no one can tell that she was a happily marriage woman, and a mother of two adorable children.

Together, also craw out from the other side of the shelter, was Yong Kang, Xiao Yan Zi and Yong Qi’s first son, who was 4 years old. He had the charming look with an elegant sense from his father, but still very mischief alike as his mother.

-Chuck…Chuck…Chuckk…Yong Kang was also tried to help his mother, as he let out his sweet voice looking for the chicken. Xiao Yan Zi glanced over to her son, made a signal for him to stay still.

-Yong Kang, you have to bend your back lower, like this…as Xiao Yan Zi whispered and also bend down even lower…And calmly waited for the roster to come out…

Yong Kang looking with full interested at his mother and together he tried his best to follow what she was doing, but looking for the rooster was more fun, then watching his mother playing bend over.

-Ma-Ma….The rooster. He cried out, while pointing at the front level of the shelter where a rooster was making its way to the stair leading inside the shelter…

-Shrrrr…Said Xiao Yan Zi…..Now remembered when I say jump, you’ll wait for me to go first, and then jumped in to grabbed the Rooster okay!

-Shir, as Yong Kang nodded obeying to his mother order.

As Xiao Yan Zi turned her big eyes back at her cheeky rooster, who seem like to run away every morning. When she saw it was settling down its paced…she was getting ready for it..

-Jumped…Xiao Yan Zi yelled out to Yong Kang, as she hopped out to hold on the rooster. The little Yong Kang, followed, as he jumped out, instead to hold the chicken back, he landed on his mother.

-“Ouch”..Cried Xiao Yan Zi, as the sudden weight of her 4 years old son, pushed she back to the ground, while holding tight to the rooster.

But that was not all. Little Xiao Wei, Xiao Yan Zi and Yong Qi’s youngest daughter, who almost three was also attracted by the noises going on in front of the house. She made her unbalance steps walked out of the house, somehow clamed up on the back of the chicken’s shelter, and with her tiny body portion. It was easy for her to squeak through the hole at the back, and crawled right out to the front, where Xiao Yan Zi and Yong Kang were trying to catch the rooster.

Xiao Wei, gave a giggle sound, when seeing her mother and brother were playing jump and catch, so she wanted to join in. Tried to stood still steadily, and as her brother just jumped out from one side, landing on her mother, Xiao Wei quickly take her jump, landing on both Yong Kang, and Xiao Yan Zi.

Xiao Yan Zi, was lying on the ground, as she about to turn over to help her boy, but by that, her eyes widen, as a baby voice called out.

-Ma-Ma. Xiao Yan Zi looked up in shock at Xiao Wei who was flying down toward her and Yong Kang…

-Ouch..Ma-Ma…Yong Kang, cried as he felt his sister just came out from no where.

Xiao Yan Zi was not much different, twice in one go, she was pushed back to the ground..

-Ai..yah…Tien ah…As Xiao Yan Zi slowly turned around to check up on her mischievous kids…Yong Kang, are you alright, sweetie, as Xiao Yan Zi gave a lead hand for Yong Kang to stand up.

Mean while Xiao Wei was laughing out aloud enjoying the game very much, cause she was the one on top of all, so she was in no pain…

-Xiao Wei, you’re alright! Why did you jumped down for, sweetheart! As Xiao Yan Zi, lead over to have a looked at her daughter, the one which she and Yong Qi already aware that she will cause a lots of problem later, just like some one…

Yong Kang jumped up, as he was not very happy with his sister, but, suddenly, he heard footsteps indicated that someone was coming to the house. As Xiao Yan Zi turned together with her two children, to see who was coming up to see them.

-Pa-Pa…Yong Kang, cried as a big smile brighten up with round bubble face, as he quickly ran over to his father, who just got home, after the morning hunt.

-Pa-Pa…Xiao Wei, also cried out, as she copied exactly what her brother just did and ran over to grabbed on Yong Qi other feet.

“Great, now, their pa-pa home, they don’t even care for me…” Thought Xiao Yan Zi, as she sat still on the ground watching Yong Qi cheerfully played with his kids.

-Ai-yah, my little boy, and girl..How are we all doing…Just then, Yong Qi, glanced over to Xiao Yan Zi, as he let out a worry gasp, and walked over to her… Xiao Yan Zi, are you alright? Why are you sitting one the ground…Asked Yong Qi concernedly, it’s been five years since they married, even she was a mother, but he can never stop worry for her safety.

-Nothing, is just your son and daughter here, trying to turned me into a dove so they can make buns out of me…Xiao Yan Zi answered cheekily, as she grabbed Yong Qi hand for support to stand up.

-How come every time they bad, that’s mean their my children. Yong Qi rebutted and began to tease his silly wife…I thought it the other ways around…When they good, their mine, When they bad, their yours..

-Um!! That so untrue! They only learned from you to tease me like…As Xiao Yan Zi pulled a face to Yong Qi, he laughed upon her cuties, and wrapped his arms around her waist for a hug, while Xiao Yan Zi struggling to get out.

The two young parent, were to attract by the verbal fight, that they forgot, that their baby was standing a distance away, exploring a cage that Yong Qi just brought home. Inside the cage, was a green parrot..

-Aiyah! I almost forgot, as Yong Qi cried out, when remembering his gift for the kids..

Xiao Yan Zi then spotted the cage, while she and Yong Qi walked their way over to the kids, she asked..

-What’s are they looking at Yong Qi!

-Oh, it’s a parrot! Come and have to look…As Yong Qi pulled Xiao Yan Zi’s hand to walk faster…

-Ma-ma…What is it? Yong Kang innocently placed the question on Xiao Yan Zi as he ran over to his mother for a hug…

Xiao Wei, on seeing her brother was in her mother’s arm, she quickly ran over to her father, as Yong Qi quickly picked up his little girl, and said to Yong Kang.

-It’s a parrot! Dear…

-Parrot! Said Xiao Wei, in her own broken language. Yong Qi smiled at his playful daughter and gave her a patch on the head.

Yong Kang, Xiao Wei, come on let bring the parrot inside, we’ll hang it next to the door. As Xiao Yan Zi gathered everybody and they happily walked inside the house together, with a new pet to the family.

That what life was like for Yong Qi and Xiao Yan Zi. After she had Yong Kang, Xiao Yan Zi was still able to go to town, everyday, to helped out Liu Hong and Fang Lau at the motel. But since she had Xiao Wei, it was just a hand full, so she stayed home to raise the kids. Which is pretty scary at first sight. While Yong Qi shared a part with Xiao Jian Martial art’s school, he also teach theory and history study to some of the poor kids, for free.

Life was fulfilled with laughter, as they all tried to let Beijing behind their back. That evening, as Yong Kang was playing with Xiao Wei on the grass hill, pretty near to their home. Xiao Yan Zi and Yong Qi were standing near by, watching over their kids…Suddenly Xiao Yan Zi let out a small sighed.

-You know, Xiao Pan Zi (The new parrot) remind me of Huang Cung…She said..while still watching carefully over her children.

-We promised not to remember about it. I’m sorry if I brought the parrot home. I didn’t mean to remind you of it…Replied Yong Qi, as he comforted his wife in his arms…

-I wonder, how are they all now…Xiao Yan Zi, softly asked herself, as she lead back on Yong Qi.

-Ni.fan xin la…I believed everybody will be just fine, like us… But as Yong Qi finished his words, he sensed a noise, sounded like a house carriage was moving toward them. Xiao Yan Zi also aware, as she cried out for her children to come back to her.

Xiao Wei and Yong Kang, on hearing their mother called out, quickly chased each other, to where their parent was stand. Then Xiao Yan Zi picked up Xiao Wei in her hand, while Yong Qi lifted Yong Kang up, as they stood still watching a house carriage from distance were riding to their way.

Both Xiao Wei and Yong Kang got all exciting, as they saw the person riding the carriage was one of their favored uncle and auntie, as they struggle to get down, and ran over to Liu Hong and Fang Lau.

While Yong Qi, and Xiao Yan Zi stood still, on the approached of other people that came along with Fang Lau and Liu Hong…

-Xiao…Yan…Zi…ZiWei cried out, the first moment she got off the carriage and spotted on Xiao Yan Zi. Followed behind was Er Kang, holding his five years old son on his hands, as he looked at Yong Qi, who had the same shocking expression as Xiao Yan Zi.

But not for long, when Xiao Yan Zi and Zi Wei made their run to met each other, they hugged and cried, cried some more, and hug tighter…Er Kang also walked over to Yong Qi, as the two men gave friendly patches on the shoulder to each other. All of them would thought this reunion day would come..

But that was not all the surprised. Qian Long, Qing’er Saiya, Er Tai, with their daughter, also came along to the trip, but they arrived later with Xiao Jian

Xiao Yan Zi and Yong Qi, both were touched seeing their father willing to travel miles just to see them. Qian Long was more than delighted, as he not only got the chance to see his long lost son and daughter in-law, but now he had two more grandchildren. They’re the two very special.

Xiao Jian, and Qing’er were still pretty much devoting their love for each other. As during the five years, of not being together, but they always kept in touch with letters. And now finally Lao Fuo Ye, had agreed to let Qing’Er to wedded Xiao Jian. That was another main purposed for the trip, that Qian Long will hold a wedding for them, in Da Ly. And Qing’er then will stayed back with Xiao Jian.

Xiao Yan Zi, and ZiWei couldn’t stay apart from each other, together with Saiya, they shared their own experience in motherhood, and the time how they live without each other. Saiya’s daughter with ZiWei’s son Er Qi, were quietly attached to their father as they were very shy at the new place. Only Xiao Wei and Yong Qi, who got more excited very minute, as they kept running around, starting at all the strange people in their little house… Sometime they would sat back in Xiao Yan Zi, or Yong Qi arms, to ear drop on what been discussing, but didn’t take longer then five minutes for them to moved around again.

And finally every good party had come to an end, when Qian Long, together with his group had to head back for Beijing. As Xiao Yan Zi and Yong Qi took their children up the hills to greet the last farewell good bye to the group. Hoping they could see each other soon, in the future..maybe…
