How to make your own ratios

Ok here is my step by step instructions for tuning ratios. The first thing i do is go to the Parts Store and buy a adjustable gear box.
After purshasing that i go back to my garage then i choose adjust gear ratios right underneath Change Cars Nickname in the left hand corner.
I will demonstrate ratio making on a loaded civic.
I have opened the Adjustable Transmission and first im going to set my 1st gear (note this is all guessing till the 1st practice run) im going to set my first gear as 2.
once ive dont that i will set my final at 3.
Then I will fill in the rest of the gears right now just seperating them nicely so i can tune the 1st and final.
The other gears dont matter at this point the results arent instant you need to tune your 1st and final First before you set your other gears.
i set mine as 2nd-1.55 3rd-1.4 4th 1.2 5th 1.1 these are not even close to what my final gears will be i just use them so i can tune the 1st and Final gear at the time being.
Now lets got take a practice run at the track. Remember to stage in the back and start in nuetral full throttle.
Whoa first run ran .502 7.476@154.022mph that was a pretty lucky guess usaully you will have to tune more on the first try but still use these steps.
We still need alot of tuning go back to garage and go back to gears lets try making the first get 2.15 and the final 3.15.
This time go to the track and make a few runs.
When i went i got traction this means your first or your final gear needs to be lowered i will lower my 1st gear and leave the final alone at this point.
I change my 1st gear to 2.05. Now lets test it and see what happens, I still got tracton that means we need to lower it more.
I now lowered it to 1.95 lets test it.
Awesome didnt get traction lets see if we can go up to 2 as the first gear if now then looks like 1.95 is the correct first gear and 3.15 is a correct finalnope 2 doesnt work so 1.95 will be our first gear and 3.15 will be are final now lets set 2nd thru 5th gear.
I noticed when tuning the 1st and final we were redlineing before the finish line so lets spread our gears out and see what happens.
I spread my gears to 2nd-1.5 3rd-1.3 4th-1.1 5th-1 then i added a 1 at the end of all of them just for tuneing so they looke like 1.51 1.31 and etc. lets go test. Those are set pretty good it almost redlines right as it crosses the finish line and thats what were shooting for, lets make the 4th and 5th gear alittle higher. I changed the 4th to 1.15 and the 5th to 1.05 this should do the finishing touches.
Remember Im good at makig ratios so i can guess numbers you will become good to once you practice. Just keep tuning and they will come around
