Painting My Hubs

If you have any intrest in ur Blaster you should paint ur hubs. It's quick, easy, and inexpensive. If ur intrested heres what you'll need to start, GET THESE IN RUSTOLEUM IF POSSIBLE....: CAN OF PRIMER, SAND PAPER, CAN OF CLEAR COAT and YOUR COLORS. Remember to be sure to coat EVENLY AND ALL OVER, CAREFUL NOT TO MISS ANY SPOTS. Now heres how to do it: 1st- Get ur hubs off, this is relatively easy just take off the lugz and castle nuts. Have and Q's or problems E-mail or IM me at FOXRACINGINC03@aol.com. 2nd- Clean ur hubs. You can use Windex, Scrubbin Bubbles, I recommend Engine Degreaser if ya got it. 3rd- Sand ur hubs. Not all the way down to the metal, just enuff to scratch it up a lil so the paint stix better. 4th- Put on ur 1st coat of primer, after if dries sand it very lightly. Then put ur 2nd coat of primer on, when that dries sand it lightly. 5th- Put on ur 1st coat of paint when it dries, sand it lightly. Then put on ur 2nd coat of paint, after it dries guess what u do? Sand it lightly. Then put on ur 3rd and FINAL coat of paint, NO SANDING PAST THIS POINT~!!!, THIS WILL MESS UP UR WHOLE ATTEMPT AT DOIN THIS "PROFESSIONALLY". 6th- Put on a coat of Clear Coat, this will help protect the paint from the elements. After it dries put on ur 2nd and LAST Clear Coat remember DO NOT sand it. Let the 2nd Clear Coat fully dry and TA-DA. UR DONE!! Now if u did it right, urs should look like this... (except for the colors of course.)Here are some pix of my Blasty with the hubs pulled off....
