My Blaster

It's a Race-Ready 1994 Yamaha Blaster. It has beaten all of the Blasters around here. And I would like to hear from you if you think you have a faster Blaster w/ a mostly stock engine.(No 240 Kits people). I've had it since April 29, 2001. I love it. It came with quite a few performance parts already on it. We gave $1400 for it. I think it's a great 4-wheeler. Lots of people rag on Blasters sayin that they're no good, but not everybody has 5 or $6000 dollars to spend on a new Raptor, Banshee, 400EX, or Z-400. It's a good ATV for the money, and there are so many upgrades to make them faster and better. And most of the hop-ups aren't very expensive. Yeah, everybody would rather have something faster and better but can't afford it. So to all you people who rag on the Blaster riders just SHUT UP!! That's not meant to offend, I'm just sayin'. I beat Warriors, 300EX's, and 250EX's quite often. I agree with a lot of other riders about racing is 20% machine and 80% rider. Example. One of my buddies was racin' a Warrior on my Blaster, he ususally rides a 2001 Honda Rancher ES, so of course he got smoked over and over again. But when I got on it I was the one doin the smokin. He wasn't use to ridin' a sport 4-wheeler. So he didn't know when to change gears and he always went in to a huge wheelie off the line cuz he over revved. Example 2: I was drag racin' one of my buddies who owns a '98 Blaster that's bored .60 over and the rest of it is stock. Mine was only stock so he automatically thought he could beat me, regardless of all my performace parts and mods. But he failed to realize with my Ext. Swingarm I can rev the engine higher before we blast off the line. He on the other hand had to keep the revs down, cuz with his stock swingarm he'd wheelie in stead of gettin' a good launch. So in turn I got the Holeshot, which is everythng in racin' and I whooped his ass! So jus cuz you have a higher CC engine than your opponent doesen't mean you'll win. Especially if it's a 2-stroke v.s. a 4-stroke. The big 4-stroke Thumper doesen't always win.... You can't beat 2-Stroke power baby! 2-strokes ALL THE WAY!!!
