The Beatles are one of the greatest and most talented bands in existence. Formed in 1957 as the Black Jacks, the band soon changed its name to the Quarry Men. Led by John Lennon, the band consisted of Ken Brown, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Lennon himself. In 1960, Stuart Sutcliffe joined on as bass player and the group became the Beatals, then the Silver Beetles with "Long John" Lennon, Paul Ramon (AKA Paul McCartney), Carl Harrison (AKA George Harrison), Stu de Stael (AKA Stuart Sutcliffe), and Tommy Moore. They first became the Beatles in June 1960 and then back to the Silver Beetles as Pete Best joined up as drummer. Soon after Stuart Sutcliffe left the group and Pete Best was fired, only to have Ringo Starr replace Best as drummer and the rest is history....
