The Ride

We got to stop horsing around, we've got a trail to blaze. It's time for the great round up, and I'm not talking about a cattle drive. Don't get saddled with more than you can carry. Spur your self on in the Lord, don't camp by the fire too long. Rough riders are the only ones to survive, get on that bucking bronco and hold your own. In a rodeo show each event is timed, and that's no bull. But on the trail of life the enemy could chase you into the wild blue yonder. Deputize a posse, rope 'em and brand 'em or even have a public hanging. Grab your cowboy hat and chaps so you don't get booted of you course. Lasso that for which you were apprehended for, stake your claim, unless you are just passing through. Don't let any poachers on the land you are settling. Pistols don't help much in an ambush, so use your spiritual weapons. Be the hunter not the hunted, go for the bounty the prize of the high calling. Rustle up some grub, feast on the word of God. Let the devil know you are packing, a peace. Take the territory for God, and then ride off into the SON-set.
