Endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. Do not let yourselves become entangled with the cares of this life, for then you cannot satisfy the one who has enlisted you in His army. (2Tim.2:3-4 NLT) Fight the good fight of faith. (1Tim.6:12) Contend earnestly for the faith. (Jude 3) Your adversary the devil roams about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (1Peter 5:8) Don't let it be you. The kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent take it by force. (Mat.11:12) Weary not in well doing, for you will reap if you faint not. (Gal.6:9) God is, and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Heb.11:6) Persecution comes for the words sake so be prepared, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand. (Mark 4:17 & Eph.6:13) The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but they are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.(2Cor.10:4) Assemble together with those of like precious faith and guard each others back as they did in Nehemiah 4 while rebuilding
the wall. It is harvest time, and that means every buzzard this side of hell is trying to get your goods. The thief comes to kill, steal and to destroy. (John 10:10) Don't spend time trying to figure out why all this is happening to you, the word says: think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you. (1Peter4:12) The same hardships are being experienced by your brothers in this world. Everything that can be shaken will be shaken. We are to be as gold tried in the fire, purified, meet for the master's use. If we don't pass the test at the waters we will be sent home. To be a Christian is WAR, and the devil is not going to surrender. God has had the strategy all planned since before the foundations of the world. He knows the thoughts and plans He has for us to give us peace and an expected end. We have this treasure in our earthen vessel, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed. We are perplexed, but not in despair.
Persecuted, but not forsaken. Cast down but not destroyed. Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are ALWAYS delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. (2Cor.4:7-12) We are crucified with Christ, nevertheless we live. Yet not we, but Christ lives in us, and the life which we now live in the flesh we live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved us and gave Himself for us. (Gal.2:20) We live and walk by faith and not by sight.(Hab.2:4) For that which is not of faith is sin.(Rom.14:23) Hold fast your confession of faith without wavering, do not fall because of unbelief. (Heb.10:23) Through Christ you can do all things, the joy of the Lord is your strength so cast all your cares upon Him. (Phil.4:13, Nem.8:10, 1Peter 5:7) No weapon formed against you shall prosper.
