You can swing for the fence but if you don't make it the out fielder will catch your ball and you'll wind up on the bench. The crowd is that great cloud of witness' they are cheering you on, keep you eye on the ball the prize of the high calling. And don't throw the bat or you could be charged with unsportsman like conduct. You must ad-mit if you don't get the right uniform you'll just have to shake the dust off your feet.
