Is.10: 27-Yoke destroyed (crushed to powder) because of the anointing. (Heb.8081)
Luke 4:18-Jesus reads Is.61 about the anointing (burden removing yoke destroying
power of God). Jesus basically said, I am anointed, and I am here. (Mark 6) The
religious crowd was offended at him, they said who does he think he is, he’s only
Joseph’s boy. They didn’t realize he wasn’t Joseph’s boy he was God’s son. They didn’t
believe he was anointed. (1Jonh 4:3 they didn’t believe God on flesh.) He marveled at
their unbelief.
CHRIST-*Greek5547-from 5548; anoint, i.e. the Messiah, an epithet of Jesus: -Christ.
Christ is not Jesus’ last name or title: literally means Anointed One and His anointing.
When you see Christ in the scriptures translate and meditate. It can mean Anointed
One, anointing or both. Jesus is the Messiah the Anointed One; you can’t separate the
Anointed One from the anointing. (Col.1: 27 Christ in you, the hope of glory.)
No reference to Christ in the Old Testament, only Messiah.
Messiah-*Greek 4899-From 4886; anointed; usually a consecrated person (as a king, priest, or saint); spec. the Messiah: -anointed, Messiah.
*Heb. 4886-to rub with oil, i.e. to anoint; by imp. to consecrate; also to paint;-anoint
4888-from 4886: unction (the act), impl. A consecratory gift: (to be) anointed, ointment.
8081-from 8080; grease, liquid (as from an olive, often perfumed); richness: anointing,
fat, fruitful, oil, ointment. 8080-to shine, oily or gross, become (make or wax) fat.
ANOINT-*Greek218- (as particle of union) and the base of 3045; to oil (with perfume):
3045-grease: fat, i.e. (fig.) sumptous dainty. (Lev.3: 16 all the fat belongs to the Lord)
1909-superimposition (of time, place, order, etc.) as a relocation of distribution:
2025-from 1909 and 5548; to smear over: -anoint
5548-akin to 5530 through the idea of contact; to smear or rub with oil, i.e. (by imp.) to
consecrate to an office or religious service: -anoint.
5530-to furnish what is needed; (give an oracle, "graze" [touch slightly], light upon etc.
i.e. (by imp.) to employ or (by extens.) to act towards one in a given manner:-entreat,
use. Comp. to 5531,5534
5531-prob. The same as base of 5530; to loan: -lend.
5534-: it needs (must or should) be:-ought.
5545-from 5548; an unguent or smearing, i.e. (fig.) the spec. endowment ("chrism") of the
Holy Spirit: - anointing unction.
ANOINTING-laymen’s good working definition, God on flesh doing what we cannot do.
GOSPEL-goodnews, the gospel refers to or infers the anointing. The good news is Acts
10:38, How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and power, he went
about doing good and healing all that were oppressed (burdened and yoked) by the
devil.
GOSPEL OF CHRIST- the good news of the Anointed One and His anointing.
Acts 10:34-Peter preached Christ to Cornelious and his household. The Holy Ghost fell
on all that heard the word. (He preached the Anointed One and His anointing; the
word was confirmed with signs following Mark 16:20) .The early church saw many
miracles, because they preached the cornerstone message Acts 10:38.
Mat. 16:17-Who do you say I am? Peter answered thou art the Christ (the Anointed
One) the son of the living God.
18)-upon this rock (revelation of the burden removing yoke destroying power of God,
the Anointed One and the anointing) I will build my church and the gates of Hell will
not prevail against it.
Luke 3:21-Jesus was baptized of John. 22)-Holy Ghost descended a voice from heaven
saying this is my beloved son; in thee I am well pleased.
Luke 4:1-Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the
Spirit into the wilderness, a) Jesus was filled with the Spirit after baptism. b) Jesus led
by the Spirit into the wilderness. (Rom.8: 14-as many as are led by the Spirit of God are
the sons of God.)
Luke 4:2-Jesus tempted forty days of the devil. (Jesus battled with spiritual weapons,
communion with the Father, fasting, and confession of the word.)
Luke 4:13-When the devil had ended all the temptation, (Satan can only do what he
obtains permission from God to do. Job 1:6-12) he departed from him for a season.
(Satan never gives up or quits, Job 2:1-6) Be not weary in well doing: for in due season
we shall reap, if we faint not.
Luke 4:14-And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: After
withstanding the temptations He received power. (Heb.5: 8-Though he was a Son, yet
he learned obedience through the things, which he suffered.)
Jesus didn’t preach He was the Son of God, He preached, He was the son of man. Jesus
only talked about being the Son of God to the religious crowd, the Pharisees, Sadducees,
and Scribes. They knew the word and had access to it; therefore they should have
recognized Him. In public He preached He was the son of man. A prophet has no
honor in his own town. Even the common folk understood prophets were anointed of
God.
1John
2:20-But ye have unction (anointing) from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
Unction-*Greek 5545-from
5548; an unguent or smearing, i.e. (fig.) the spec. endowment ("chrism")
of the Holy Spirit: -anointing, unction. (1Cor.2: 16-we have the mind of
Christ.)
1John 2:22-Liar denies
Jesus is the Christ (Anointed One). He is antichrist ( anti anointing,
or anti Anointed One). To deny Jesus is the Christ is to deny the anointing
on Him in the flesh. (God on flesh doing what natural man cannot do, Jesus
as man could do no miracles, the anointing empowered Him to do miracles.)
1John 2:24-Let that which
you heard from the beginning remain in you, Acts 10:38. Also continue in
the Son and in the Father. (John 15:7-Abide in me, and my words abide in
you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.)
1John 2:25-He promised
us eternal life. Anointing is eternal life, when we are born again we are
born of incorruptible seed that lives and abides forever (1Pet.1: 23).(John 3:16)
ZOE-*Greek5590-Breath,
Spirit. God kind of life. Presence and power of God in the seed planted
in you, by the anointing. The anointing is eternal life, burden removing,
yoke destroying, healing, delivering, mind illuminating, abundant life.
1John 2:26-These things
written concerning them that seduce you. Concerning them that speak against
the anointing, the original message. (2 Tim. 3:5-Turn away from those that
have a form of godliness, but deny the power.) 1John 4:4-Greater is He
that is in me than he that is in the world. Phil 4:13-I can do all things
through Christ, which strengthens me. (Notice: it doesn’t say Christ who,
but Christ which. The anointing strengthens.)
1John 1:27-The anointing
you have received of Him abides in you, and has taught you to abide in
Him. (John 15:7)
1John 1:28-Abide in the
Anointed One and His anointing, you can’t separate the anointing from the
Anointed One. You can’t separate the head from the body; He is the head
we are the body. The head is anointed so is the body. Our confidence is
in knowing (Acts 10:38) how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy
Ghost who went about doing good, healing all that were oppressed (burdened
and yoked) of the devil for God was with Him. (Acts 1:8 I am His witness.)
You can’t be neutral you
are either for or against the anointing. Christ (Anointed One and anointing)
or antichrist (anti anointing). If you are a Christian, (anoint-ian) and
anointed you will abide in Him. Remain vitally united to the Vine, then
you will not be seduced.
Acts
8:5-Philip preached Christ in Samaria.
Acts 9:17-Ananias laid
hands on Paul, he received his sight and was filled with the Holy Ghost.
18)-was baptized. 19)-received meat, was strengthened, was with the disciples
at Damascus. 20)-Straightway he preached Christ.
Acts 10:37-Peter after
having a vision, went to Cornelius’ house and preached, that which was
published, Acts 10:38.
Acts 10:44-While Peter
yet spoke these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them that heard the word.
(Word confirmed with signs following)
Acts 11:26-At Antioch
the disciples were first called Christians.
2Cor.1: 20-For all the
promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God
by us.
21)-Now He, which stablishes
us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
22)-Who hath sealed us,
and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
AMP.2Cor.1: 20-For as
many as are the promises of God, they all find their Yes (answer) in Him
(Christ). For this reason we also utter the Amen (so be it) to God through
Him -that is, in His Person and by His agency – to the glory of God.
21)-But it is God Who
confirms and makes us steadfast and establishes us (in joint fellowship)
with you in Christ, and has consecrated and anointed us – enduing us with
the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
22)-[He has appropriated
and acknowledged us as His], putting His seal upon us and giving us His
(Holy) Spirit in our hearts as the security deposit and guarantee [of the
fulfillment of His promise].
5548=5530, 5531, 5534-through
the idea of contact, smear or rub with oil, consecrate, to furnish what
is needed, entreat, use, loan, must needs be.
Luke 4:18-Jesus preached
about the anointing.
Acts 4:27-Anointed One
and His anointing prophesied.
Acts 10:38-Jesus anointed.
(John 1:14-Word became flesh and dwelt among us.)
2Cor.1: 21-We are anointed.
(John 14:17-Holy Spirit dwell with you and be in you.)
Heb.1: 9-Gladness (joy)
is a direct result of the anointing. (Nem.8: 10-The joy of the Lord is
your strength.)(Eph.6: 10-Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might.
