Amartya Sen - 1998 Nobel Prize in Economics

Amartya Sen was born on November 3, 1933 at Shantiniketan in Bengal India and is currently a Professor at Trinity College, Cambridge, U.K.. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics for "his contributions to welfare economics."
