Strategy & Business: An Interview with Paul Krugman

Paul Krugman was born in 1953 and received his Ph.D. in 1977 from MIT. In 1982-3, he worked at the White House for the Council of Economic Advisors. He received the prestigious John Bates Clark Medal in 1991. He is currently the Ford International Professor of Economics at MIT. Krugman's main focus in economics has been on international trade. He helped found the "new trade theory", which deals with the "consequences of increasing returns and imperfect competition for international trade." He is not only a prolific writer, but as is obvious from his personal Webpage, he has a great sense of humor.
