Evsey D. Domar studied economics at Harvard University. He is Ford Professor of Economics, Emeritus, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Evsey D. Domar and Roy F. Harrod separately, but concurrently , converted static Keynesian analysis into a theory of growth. The essence of the Harrod-Domar Growth Model is simply that the rate of growth of GNP is determined jointly by the national savings ratio (positively) and the national capital/output ratio (negatively).
