Torvaldsland is not quite like the rest of Gor, and Torvaldsland Free Women have a more active role than Their southern Sisters do. However, the Rarius here are sworn to protect You, just like any honorable Rarius of Gor. They are Your Brothers now, treat Them with respect, and You will reap the benefits. Treat Them with scorn, and there are other benefits You may be introduced to.

I am Lady Lif, Owner of the Inn. Sterling is First Sword. Tread lightly with Him, for although He is quick to jest and laugh, go over that line and You may see a side of Him You were not expecting. You may not like my advice but I have managed to keep My neck out of a collar. Of course, some of You think that little "x" in the corner works just as well, it doesn't, to enjoy IRC You must be accepted and follow the rules of behavior.
