Free Women and slaves
Tal Sisters,
In this section, I will talk about some differences, and a few of the feelings between Free Woman and slaves. This is a delicate subject, for if one is going strictly by the scrolls, FW hated slaves and tormented them, and slaves were afraid of FW. Woe be to the FW who was collared and fell in with the slaves she had previously ruled. Her lot was not a good one, revenge can be brutal.

If you wish to be like that with the slaves on line, that is totally your business. Your reception may be less than warm with their Owners once they find out. However, if you wish to debase the myth that Free Women are all bitches, welcome aboard! *Here's a few hints.

Acting like a slave

Slaves act like slaves. They can wiggle, and giggle and flaunt themselves in public, lap sit, nibble on Master, and otherwise do anything they can to glean the Master’s attentions. Unfortunately for FW, some of the actions the slaves use are a bit embarrassing for a FW to look at. Sisters, there is nothing we can do about blatantly obscene actions or dress for the girls. They wear what their Masters tell them to, most of the Inn girls wear kirtles. What the local Free Woman thinks is often beyond the Rarius, who are drooling over the slave . The most you can do is ignore them, or find some excuse to leave the room. I’m sorry, but this is Gor.

Free Women are graceful, witty, charming, demure, modest, intelligent and beautiful. This also describes slaves (except for demure and modest). Slaves are not allowed to hide their sexuality, please don’t fault them for that. Free Women do have a place in the grand scheme of things. The Rarius enjoy talking to us, because they know they don’t run the risk of having to fur us if they pay us a bit of attention. Oh, I can see your shocked expression already. Sisters, I ask you not to repeat that to any girls, it would hurt their feelings deeply and serve no purpose.

We cannot act like slaves.If He is not Your Free Companion (whom You must , you will not like the word, obey) No lap sitting, overt sexual aggressiveness or slutty behaviour. So why do the girls seem to hate FW? Because for all their sexiness, and bare breasts, and all the things they do to glean attention from the Rarius, suddenly this Free Woman comes in, and is having a great time without all those trappings. Remember Sisters, the Gorean slave normally has a fragile ego, and you can hurt her deeply. Also I will not tolerate cruelty to the girls simply because You are bored. That is not why we are here.


Masters and slaves

In the books, slaves are property. Few Masters “loved” their slaves. On line, the ratio is reversed. Those slaves are often loved, more than a Free Man’s own FC. This too, is a hard fact of on-line Gor We must get used to. If You are enamoured of a Free Man, and He has a slave (or several) get used to sharing. If You can’t share, either find one who doesn’t think this way, or get used to being single for a long time.

To go to PM and bitch, gripe and whine about Your Beloved’s girl will usually result in You getting pushed away. The slave serves a sexual, and an ego boosting purpose to the Free Man of Gor. There are many Free Men out there who would like to see FW disappear altogether, because of the actions of a few. How you act is going to ultimately dictate how a Free Man and His slave(s) act you towards.

This does not mean the slave should treat you with disrespect, nor be unaccountable for punishment should the slave do so, but the slave is HIS, and HIS alone. Keeping that in mind will make your stay on Gor more pleasant.


Dances

Free Women DO NOT DANCE in public. The exception is in the cities, where there are FW dances performed for dignitaries. In Green Cliffs, we are not a city, and FW do not dance in public. To do so invites a collar.

When a slave dances, it will be in three to several posts. Please be courteous when the girl’s dance. Read the dance and try to post something about it that caught your interest. If the dance is extremely graphic, and embarrasses You as a FW, (as most do) then find a Sister to chat with in PM. DO NOT post “yawns” or anything like that. It reflects badly on You.

Even if you did not read the dance posts, it is polite to at least say “Well done little one” at the end. These girls have put a lot into writing those dances, try to acknowledge something.


Punishment for slaves

If, for some reason (within reason) some slave has offended You, and that slave does not belong to You, You are within Your rights to verbally reprimand the slave. Anything beyond begging mercy and/or gagging the girl is reserved for her Master. Cut and Paste the posts and give them to the Master. It is up to Him to deal out any punishment, not You. Even if He does nothing, that is up to Him. If the girl belongs to the Inn she will be punished, if she belongs to someone from outside my home and the insult was enough, she will be banned.


Owning slaves

Nothing stops You from owning a slave, girl or boy. Most slaves know a heck of a lot more about Gor than the Frees do, so try to do some research before plunging in. Slaves also take a LOT of time and attention. Be sure You are up to the responsibility before purchasing one.
Serves

The bond-maids here will offer to serve You. It’s up to You to accept or decline. If You accept, be sure You know what food and drink You are ordering. Read the “Foods” and “Drinks” pages. The serves are broken into several posts. Try to acknowledge a few of these posts from the one serving You.

At the end of the serve, the slave will ask if she can do anything else for You. If not, be sure to thank the little one and release her to the serving furs. She cannot leave until You do so.

Chores

Don’t let the slaves sit around being bored. We all know what that’s like . Think of a few chores, set the slaves to the chores. Try to suggest something fun to do, not just sweeping and cleaning and laundry. Torvaldsland bond-maids shouldn’t be idle. An idle slave gets into trouble.
