Known Superhuman Powers: Nova wears a Black Nova helmet capable of giving him access to the Xandarian Nova Force energy. The Nova Force bestows Nova with superhuman strength, durability, flight at superhuman speed, and the ability to channel the Nova Force energy into concussive energy blasts and constructs such as shields, bubbles or duplicates of his own body. The helmet also provides Nova with a targeting system, the ability to heal from injuries and the ability to survive in outer space. It can scan communication bands, see clocked objects, alert Nova to danger, translate languages, provide technological information, project event logs, locate and transfer the Nova Force into other Nova helmets and instantly materialize Nova's uniform.
