Tonbridge Finswimming Club News, 2nd April 2000.
Hi,
Yet another good turnout. We did an easier training set than last week but most of us
found it harder.
After saying that the Hasselt meet was off, I have just had the information and will
arrange entries. The date is 23rd April! We will take a mens
and ladies relay teams (so no kopping out).
We had delivery of the Finis training fins and gave them a try out. I was impressed bu the
shooters (the very small blades) and the
metronome. If any of you have any opinions on the kit then tell me.
This week we did:
4 x 100 m surface stereo with float.
6 x 100 m surface mono (50 m full, 50 m stroke work).
6 x 50 m surface stereo.
4 x 25 m surface mono.
4 x 25 m apnea mono.
2 x 100 m surface stereo with float.
1700m.
The following were there: Catherine Clark, Liz Corbin, Clare Crawford,
Michell Hadden, Bob Dommel, Adam Perrott, Alaric Smith, Paul
Williams.
The Hasselt meet will be a tunnell and drive affair. We have one car, but we will need 2.
I would like it if the following could go:
Mens team: Alaric Smith, Ross Funnell, Adam Perrott and Niel Mackin (?).
Womens team: Liz Corbin, Michelle Hadden, Catherine Clark and Anna Ventin (?).
If anyone cannot make it let me know. If there is a problem with registering for the event
I will e-mail everyone.
