The Road to Home
Time can move so slowly
And days turn into nights
A wanderer on a winding road
Keeps her destination in sight.
Traveling on life's highways
And its rough and tumble shores
A girl becomes a woman, it seems
When her heart has freedom to soar.
Life's little joys, she found along
This path on which she roams
And once again she finds that she's
On the road which leads to home.
