A warm day
The sky was blue
And a few birds sang
A shrill sound
A short conversation
And the day changed
The world was dark, lonely, and cold
Rain touched the fibers of the brown carpet beneath me
My sky was black and I wondered
Would things ever be bright again
At the same time I knew they would be
Someday
I walked to the window
Outside the sun was shining
The birds were singing
The trees danced a slow waltz with the wind
And the sky was still blue
