well i said i was into fishing, sea fishing to be exact, (it seems to be a fairly good link)
me with a 5 lb BULLHUSS
well I've been fishing for nearly all my life (except the first four years) people think that I'm mad ,but at least it keeps me of the high stool in a bar and not only that but it is also cheap and there's also a good feeding to be had depending on what I catch. Where I fish ? well in the sea where else!! actually I go fishing all around Ireland (when transport available) but mostly in Salthill in Galway (west ireland) (where i live) where there are a good few species to be caught ranging from plaice and flounder to cod and coalfish in winter Pollock, mackreal, dogfish and the larger bull huss, bass, wrasse, thornback ray, dab, whiting, gurnard and many more.
the best place I've fished is down in Co.Kerry at a small place called fenit, where there is a pier where you can catch almost every thing (including tope from the shore) what makes it such a good place to fish is the strong tidal current, where 6oz leads are just heavy enough to hold on to the bottom, Also boat fishing off the back of the Aran Islands (big Pollock, Coalfish ,Cod, and even Squid have been caught and as you can imagine many other specie), so if you like fishing and are going fishing in Ireland DON'T FORGET YOUR RODS. where to fish in Ireland (sea and inshore)
