Ben Gillies is of course the drummer of Silverchair. He has been playing the drums since he was 8 years old and wrote a lot of the songs for silverchair. You're probably wondering how can a DRUMMER, of all people, write the music? Well, he plays more than just one instrument. He plays drums, guitar, a more. He once had REALLY long hair, but then he shaved it off in April of 1997. His mother's name is Annette and his father's name is David (maybe that's why his middle name is David!) who is a plumber. Yes, he like all the other members has a sister. Her name is Christy.
