Windows4Web2000 User Manual

Thankyou for choosing Windows4Web2000 for your internet surfing needs. Please Email me if you can not find the answers to your questions here.
Windows4Web2000 is a frameset program that allows webtv users who normally do not have the use of seperate windows access to more than one file at a time. On this program you can open up to four seperate windows and have each one work independently of the others. I have provided storage cookie boxes above each window frame for you to customize yourself. These will still be available once your window is open. You can enter as may URLs as you like into each box, although it makes it easier if you limit one URL to a box, that way you can simply put your cursor in the box you want to copy the URL of, click "Cmd & A" to highlight it, click "Cmd & C" to copy it, and then paste it into the window prompt box.

1. At the top of the Windows4Web2000 page you will see a panel that has the Widows4Web2000 logo, a button which says ©-Windows4Web2000-®, and an email button. By clicking the logo you wil re-load the page and therefor close ALL the windows you have opened at that time.

2. Below the top panel, you can see the first window control panel with it's cookie URL saver boxes.

3. To open a window, click on the "Window4Web2000" button at the bottom of this panel. Type or paste in the desired URL in the prompt box. This will take a few seconds to load. Now you should have your top window open to the desired page.

4. Operate all other Window4Web2000 panels the same way, just scroll down to the bottom of the first page you have opened and you will see the next Window4Web2000 panel below it.

5. To close a window click the X button on the panel above the page you have loaded in the window. Do NOT hit your "back" button, or it will not close your windows in the order of your choosing. 6. ALL panels work completely independently of one another. You do not have to open panel number 1 first, or close panel number 4 last. You can close any window at any time and it will not effect the other windows in any way.

7. If you close any window at any time, no matter what is in the rest of the windows, you my re-open the closed panel to a new page and it will not effect any of the other windows.

I hope this tutorial as helped solve your problems and answer your questions. Feel free to Email me for any reason! Have fun, and happy surfing!
