Does Heaven Have A Phone Number ?
Daddy went to Heaven, but I need him here today,
He's been gone a long, long time, he needs to come home now!
I really need to reach him, but I simply don't know how.
Help me find the number please, is it listed under "Heaven"?
I can't read these big, big words, I am only seven.
I'm sorry operator, I didn't mean to make you cry.
Is your tummy hurting too, or is there something in your eye?
If I call my church maybe they will know.
Daddy said that when we need help that's where we should go.
I found the number to my church tacked up on the wall.
Thank you operator, I'll give them a call.
The Lonely Cemetery
Out in a lonely cemetery
where breezes gently
blow,
there lies a dear and
precious one
we loved and treasured
so..
Precious is the one who's
gone;
a voice we loved is still.
A place is vacant in
our home
that never can be filled.
We think of them in silence,
and often say their name.
But all that's left to
answer
is a picture in a frame.
To her their voice,
and see their smile,
to sit and talk awhile.
Dear God, please take
this message
to our loved one up above
tell them how much we
miss them
and give them all our
love.
It broke our hearts to
lose
that sad and lonely day
But they did not go alone
For a part of us went
with them
the day that God had
called them home.
For Those I Have Left Behind
I have not gone far...I
still see...
Those tears you shed...are
for me...
I am not unhappy...I am
not sad...
I just thank God...For
all we had...
I did not choose...To
go away...
But God told me...I couldn't
stay...
He reached for me...with
loving care...
Come with me child...If
you dare...
Reach out your arms...to
those below...
Blow them a kiss...So
they will know...
Let the breeze of your
kiss... Pass across their brow...
Let them know you are
safe...and happy now...
Now dry your eyes...And
remember me...
For where I am...Was
meant to be...
To you that I have left
behind...
The love we've shared...Will
always bind...
If a breeze should pass...Across
your brow...
Remember from where it
came...And how...
Until we meet again one
day...
I've not gone far...
I am just away..
