The electrical system is offered as an option on
the Santana 525. The battery is placed amidship in the boat for better
weight distribution. The electrical panel is fuse type with an extra fuse
for the installation of additional equipment. All circuits are rated to
20 amps. The drawing shows the routing of the wiring throughout the boat
as well as the color coding system. General wiring is 14 gage with the
battery wiring being 12 gage.
The battery is a 12 volt heavy duty marie type rated
at 55 amp hours.
