Doug's Favorite Links

- Low prices  on computer parts, peripherals, electronics and more. Listed by price with vendor ratings. I use this site for locating, pricing, and purchasing computer parts.

.

-Tired of software that doesn't work? Tired of installing software that was nothing more than a sales pitch for some overpriced utility? Tired of removing demos and crippled programs that never really un-installed completely and left your your hard disks with dozens of unneeded files? Did someone tell you to download free software and after you downloaded and installed you found it doesn't work unless you paid $100? At NONAGS they try to sift through all this, they do the work of selecting what really works, what's really free, what really is worth your time and effort. So they have put together a large collection of 32-bit Windows software that has no disabled features, nags, time limits, or any other tricks.

- Another great freeware site.

-A great information site. HowStuffWorks explains hundreds of subjects, from car engines to lock-picking to ESP, using clear language and tons of illustrations.

- The 'bible' for information on DSL, Cable and Other High Speed Internet Services. Lots of good info, and good people, offering their assistance. My favorite broadband site.

- The best independent breaking news page on the web.

- The Wall Street Journal's free online editorial page.
