Knox Doss is a Middle School in Hendersonville Tennessee. The current enrollment is around 400 students. The music department has three bands totaling almost 110 musicians. The picture at the top of this page is the Advanced Band, which is the primary performing group. The Knox Doss Raider Bands include almost 33% of the total school population. The Music Department is active in all phases of instrumental music.The musicians participate in Concert band, Jazz Band, Pep Bands and Solo and Ensemble performance. The Bands play at Football and Basketball games as well as regular Concerts. Individual musicians are active in solo and ensemble playing as well as Mid-State auditions. The Music Department also furnishes programs for the students, Civic organizations, businesses and local charities. The Raider Bands participate in Concert Festival, Solo and Ensemble Festival, and Honor Bands.Check back for schedules of upcoming events and news flashes. We update often
