A Poem that Should Not be Read Aloud If there was some way to say what your fingertips did to me More than a touch Some sweet, wet feeling I could thrust into your heart More than love, more than need-at-night So you could see the way back and make me feel it again Again - it's a useless word when the first time hasn't ended Not behind my eyes Where you and all you could give me is still So warm and close beside me Not between my Lips where I can still taste truth-sharp tones of breath A jealous boy's kiss Give me five minutes, give me forever Give me a look that's not over your shoulder Tell me something true for a change Give me something I can feel from.
