beer off your breath your
girlfriend’s not pregnant (and
neither is her best friend)
ready for the next class
party friday night
you don’t tell the girl
you’re screwing in the bedroom about
the girl in the back yard waiting on you
you don’t tell her you took the rubber off
feels better this way
besides, you can get any girl you want and
she’s only sixteen - what’s she doing at a college
party any damn way?
don’t drink and drive
walk across the parking lot instead
wake up and watch your girlfriend leave
she didn’t see the other
phone number by the bed.. in the trash
shower and walk to the cafeteria and
your friends ask what’s up
and you look full of yourself as you say
“Nothing.”
