LOVE DROPS

I have on a dress
All covered in bold polka-dots
I got to thinking
What if each was for a drop
Of love I gave away today
In a hug - a tender word
A laugh of cheer
A listening ear
A kind deed done
Oh, what if each - a drop of love
Was shown by dots upon a cloth
I would hope to have one covered
With dots by the hundreds
Love drops showered unto others
From this vessel in God's hand
Like a giant watering can.
