LORD  -  I GOOFED (written by Gail Batton - #54 - 5/27/90) LORD - I GOOFED!!  the devil beckoned to my needs And in his snare - I stupidly fell Now he is laughing - for he thinks That he has gotten me down and destroyed LORD - I GOOFED!! forgive me this great fault While I was praying and doing your work The devil snuck in and attacked from behind He's firing his darts and has traps all around LORD - I GOOFED!!  would you help me - this once? I've been here before - and you rescued me then Again would you please - forgive me and aide? I know I have failed - I'll try not to again LORD - I GOOFED!! I praise you, my Father For you love me so - your Word tells of how You love us each one I thank you for listening - Thank You - I pray LORD - I GOOFED!! but here you are - ready To help me and rescue - from my own fault You've heard my prayers for others And now - You're helping me Thank You - my Father LORD - I GOOFED!!  but praise God - it's over My feet are on the Rock AND  this too shall pass away.
