Light My Way
Lord,
I'm journeying down this path
Oh,
I am so very weary
Night
is upon me, Lord
Sounds
frighten me from the dark
Please,
please, Light my way
The
path is deep within this forestland
Weaving
this way and that
In
the Light of the Day I can see
I
can keep my feet upon the path
But,
Lord, at night and in the deep
I
can only feel my way - one step at a time
Please,
please, Light my way
Lord,
please help me to see
This
road has climbed
Around
and around a mountain
Each
time higher and higher
Oh,
Lord, with each step
I
could plummet to my death
I'm
so weary - I all but faint
Please,
please, Light my way
Thy
Word is a lamp unto my feet
And
a Light unto my way.
