GENERATION ONE

Isaac DENTON was born abt. 1822 in Virginia. He married Mary (?), born in Tennessee. Family migrated from Virginia into Alabama where their son James W. DENTON was born and then settled for a while in Fredricktown, Madison County, Missouri. It is unknown where they died, Missouri or Tennessee.

James W. DENTON was born abt 1850 in Alabama, date of death unknown, died in Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee. He married (1) Mary E. RATTAREE June 18, 1866 in Madison County, Missouri; daughter of Thomas RATTAREE and Rutha (?). (2) Susan FRYE.
