Backstreet Boys are planning on coming back in May and June 2000 for a second North American Tour! Yes, that's correct, Backstreet Boys are said to be coming back in concert to your town!

Unconfirmed: "I heard Lars from Metallica on a local radio station refer to some upcoming MTV Christmas show where they were going to be performing onstage with Korn, Backstreet boys and Britney Spears."

Did you know that Nick had a hand in the costume design of the spacesuit he wears in the "Larger than life" video? His suit was made to measure! In the same interview the BSB told that they loved making that video, especially since they had created the whole concept, including the design of the set! The filming of this video took 3 days and took place at the Universal Studios in Orlando. A fun fact: AJ's outfit made it impossible to go to the toilet for a few hours, since he would have to take the whole outfit off, including the tight black body suit he was wearing underneath! Poor AJ! Final fact: the video cost about two million dollars.

Everyone knows that the real talent behind pop music bands these days isn't the band members, but the producers! Let's face it, the Backstreet Boys don't play their own instruments, they don't design their own ad campaigns... heck, they don't even dress themselves! Obviously, someone at Hudson realized this and decided that a video game should be made, putting the power to create a superstar in the palm of your hand. The end result is Super Producers, scheduled to land on Dreamcast this November 11th. Super Producers allows you to scout for talent, sign them to your label, nurture them, and then watch your budding star become a huge success (or dismal failure, depending on your talent as a producer). The added twist in all of this is the trading of talent online via the Dreamcast's modem. Looks like future music moguls have everything they need here to train for their real life careers! Now, get out there and cook up The Wanderer his own personal Britney Spears, before he bursts!

 Nick Rejected? On October 7th Apparently, there was some news on Nick Carter. It was from when they were in Chicago. Well, the story was that on Wednesday, Nick went to the Water Tower Plaza. He had been shopping around, when he came to a department store. He was walking around and supposedly passed the most beautiful girl in the world. Well, he went up to her and started talking to her. Then I guess she asked him if he'd like to go out to get a drink. He suggested that they just hang, and that's when the girl flat out rejected our poor Nicky. Apparently, the girl was 21 and Nick's only 19, just 2 years shy of the legal age. 

The Backstreet Boys allegedly broke their promise and didn't meet their fans. The pop princes were supposed to head to the Galaxy Club in Des Plaines Ill. around 12 a.m. last night (Oct. 7). A manager at Galaxy said the Backstreet Boys had a signed agreement with Galaxy to appear at the Club on Oct. 7th. But the boys never came. Staff at Galaxy said they'd gotten many phone calls from excited fans about their chance to meet the boys face to face. The club management made plans to increase security and were charging a $20.00 cover to get into the club. All the excitement and preparation was apparently for nothing.
"Their production people were here," said the manager. "They kept saying, 'They're coming, they're coming' but all of a sudden they told us they (the Backstreet Boys) weren't coming after all."  "We had a lot of pissed off fans here last night," she said.  The nightclub is filing a lawsuit against the band for breaking their contract. The Backstreet's management company, The Firm, wouldn't comment on the issue.

Backstreet Boys and Korn were multiple winners Thursday in the inaugural ARTISTdirect Online Music Awards at the House of Blues in West Hollywood. Backstreet Boys were named favorite pop group and won the award for the best pop fan site, while Korn took home the Pioneer Artist on the Internet trophy as well as best rock fan site.

In the ShowBuzz section of the afternoon programing on Vancouver, Canada Radio Station Z95.3 FM they reported a story that said that ABC has signed a deal to do a new TV show based on the making of a musical group. Lou Pearlman - man in charge of organizing Backstreet Boys, LFO and N Sync, just to name a few - will hold open auditions for a multi-ethnic boy band. Once they find their talented (and cute) members they will be followed as they (this is the plan, who knows what will happen) sign a record deal, record an album and make it big. This is no regular TV show, think MTV "Real World" following the making of a Boy Band. No word yet on when the show will make it to the air, I'll try to keep you posted.

Call it the clash of the teenybopper titans. In one corner: the Backstreet Boys, a prefab, Florida-based pop quintet that regularly churns out bubble gum tunes the kiddies love. In the other: 'N Sync, a prefab, Florida-based pop quintet that regularly churns out bubble gum tunes the kiddies love. Okay, so it's not up there with, say, the Beatles vs. the Stones, but this battle of the boy bands is getting pretty nasty. The first salvo was fired last year when the Boys purportedly split with their managers because the company also represented the upstart 'N Sync. Now comes word that BSB are looking to dump their label, Jive Records, after it signed 'N Sync to a pop-laden roster that also includes Britney Spears. ('N Sync had been recording for RCA.) According to Billboard Online, the Backstreet Boys' legal team sent a letter to Jive founder Clive Calder saying the label has breached its contract with the group, freeing the Boys to take their multiplatinum voices elsewhere. Quoting an anonymous source close to the group, Billboard says the Boys were supposedly ticked off when they learned 'N Sync was joining Jive. It was apparently the last straw in a contentious relationship. "They're tired of being exploited," the source says. "Their unhappiness [with the label] is rooted in their feeling of betrayal and deceit." A Backstreet Boys publicist had no comment on the report, and a Jive Records spokeperson did not immediately return calls. As the label fight heats up, the chart battle is a wash--for now. While the Backstreet Boys' Millennium at No. 2 ranks higher than 'N Sync's self-titled debut down at No. 46 (which, to be fair, has been out longer), both discs have been certified multiplatinum at 7 million-plus in sales.

The Backstreet Boys are entangled in yet another corporate melee. This time, the band is reportedly accusing Jive Records of being in breach of contract and has served notice to the company that the group no longer considers itself on the label. According to a story in Billboard Online, the Backstreet Boys are upset that 'N Sync recently announced it would be making a jump from BMG to Jive, and that the boys had reportedly left their management company last year partly because those managers represented 'N Sync as well.

The Boys were awarded the Diamond Award in Canada for "Millennium". This is the third consecutive Diamond album for the guys and this has never been accomplished before, not even by Canadian pop stars like Bryan Adams, Celine Dion or Shania Twain!"

Backstreet Boys are FINALLY leaving Jive Records (bye bye Britney!) and are currently looking for a new label... Sony is a nice choice boys *hint hint* Here's an article about it. Run guys, run!

"Austrian radio station, HitRadio Ö3, mentioned that Mariah is planning on doing a song with Backstreet Boys, but it will be a Christmas song.. so possibly for this album. *please note that the guys themselves have never confirmed this so it may not be true!*

There are two new BSB books due out soon. The first is 'Backstreet Boys : Millennium' by Scholastic on paperback and 'Backstreet Boys - Galaxy of Superstars' by Cathy Alter Zymet, also on paperback. On the Daily Show, correspondent Mo Rocca did a "Where Are They Now?" segment on BSB simply because they dropped to #2 on the Billboard Charts. In closing, he says, "We fondly remember Joey, Jordan, Danny-", and Jon says "Wait, that's New Kids on the Block." Mo, however, says he knows what he's talking about, jumps up on the table, and starts dancing to "Step By Step." And in a very hilarious show on Fox Family called "Big Wolf On Campus" (Which is about a teen werewolf) one episode had Merton (The Goth) asking if Tommy would consider being in his Sci-Fi version of "Romeo And Juliet- Merton: What about that video we made?
Tommy: We didn't make a video! You snuck up on me with your camera while I was lipsynching to the Backstreet Boys!

If you live in the Chicago-Land area and listen to 96.3 (B96), yesterday Roxanne (DJ) was at Navy Pier at Lake Michigan and she announced a contest with the BsB (don't remeber what it was...I think win free seats to their 3-date shows here tomorrow, Wednesday & Thursday), and Brian's mommy was in town signing Posters, and taking pictures with fans who went out to Navy Pier.

Britney's having her 18th birthday party at New York's Botanical Gardens (30 minutes away from me!) on Dec.2. The guest list includes some of the hottest names in showbiz. Invites have already gone out to Madonna, Shania Twain, NSync, Backstreet Boys and Jerry Springer. Others expected to attend are ex-New Kid on the Block Jordan Knight and Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar. Backstreet has a concert on that day, so don't expect an appearance Britney!

On September 29 on the show Late Night With Conan O'Brien, Conan had a skit about the SAT's. He was talking about how the SAT's have an analogy section on them. An example of an analogy is cat:kitten, dog:puppy. He had his sidekick Andy answer some of the analogy questions he had made up. One of them was Backstreet Boys 1999:"I Want it That Way" :: Backstreet Boys 2001:Produce it that way.

The BSB were staying at a hotel in Philly and on the radio they said that the bsb buses were all there and one of the backstreet boys was going to get a hair cut....yup u guessed it! NICK!

According to the official Carter Family homepage, the Carters have moved again! End of last year the Carters already moved to California, except for Nick who bought his own home in Florida. This time Nick bought a house in the mountains of California, and he wanted the family to move him with him again, and so they did!

A new film, The Disk-O-Boyz, will be based on the making of a five-member band (ie. Backstreet Boys, N Sync). The movie will star Coltin Scott, who plays Nickolas Cassadine on ABC's General Hospital. This movie could take you into the lives of your favorite boyband, and how they became famous. There is no word on when the movie will be released yet.

Atlantic Records has announced a November 9th release date for "Pokémon The First Movie - MUSIC FROM AND INSPIRED BY THE MOTION PICTURE." The multi-artist soundtrack collection accompanies the upcoming Warner Bros./Kids' WB! motion picture, which is set to open in theaters across North America on November 12th. The album release is the result of a partnership between Atlantic and 4Kids Entertainment, the exclusive licensing agent for Nintendo's Pokémon.

"Pokémon The First Movie - MUSIC FROM AND INSPIRED BY THE MOTION PICTURE" is highlighted by previously unreleased tracks from some of today's biggest pop sensations, including 'NSYNC, Christina Aguilera, Vitamin C, B*witched, Aaron Carter, Billie, Blessid Union of Souls, Billy Crawford, Mandah, debut Atlantic artist Ashley Ballard (with So Plush), and new Lava/Atlantic artists Angela Vía and Midnight Sons. Britney Spears and 98° contribute popular tracks to the album, further highlighted by "Free Up Your Mind," the debut solo track from Emma Bunton p/k/a Baby Spice.

Possible television broadcast for that golf game will be November 20 on VH1.

I am so sorry I have not been able to update in such a long time, actually that last time I updates was on August 21st...wow that's like what a month and a week or 2, I have totally re-done this page for the better, I hope everyone likes, it, I am trying to use frames it is confusing, and I had time to scan some pictures and find out more information for all your needs, some of this information may be old. From the associates and executives at FIRM Management, as well as Janet Kleinbaum of Jive records, it has been released that no meet n' greets are scheduled for the Backstreet Boys tour. The only backstage passes will be for close family members, friends of the boys and press passes. The only exception being made is for the "Make A Wish Foundation." According to Jeff Kwatinetz FIRM Management the boy's had stopped the meet n' greets towards the end of the European tour, they were just getting too worn out.

Laura, one of the MTV VJ Wannabes from back in April, went around the city and got people to sing "I'll Never Break Your Heart." It was a group of girls and a newsstand guy! Lol. Just now, some woman tryed to sing Everybody in opera fashion. NO NO NO!

Well, you hardcore BSB fans, would know that most of time it's DoubleTrees Hotel where Britney and 'N Sync usually stay at too. After talking with a million girls at the concert, they are not staying at the Marriot across the street, but there is underground tunnels from the Nassau Coliseum to Marriot. So, you never know! Many girls stayed at the Marriot to see if they were staying there, but NOPE!

If you bought the HOT Millennium tourbook, you see that the red headed dancer's name is not Christina, it is Kristin Denehey.

For all of you who have nosebleeds, Nassau Coliseum is the place to have nosebleeds. I had nosebleeds and we saw incredibly as long as you aren't sitting in the back of the skyboxes. But eventually, me and my friends ran all the way down to the second level and sat on the steps watching. Howie RAPS!!! It was so cute! The tourbook is totally worth the $20! None of them really just stay on one side, so you get to see all of them. Nassau is really small, so its not that bad! You wouldn't believe how many girls who didn't have tickets showed up. They lined up hoping to get tickets..SOLD OUT DUH! These like 10 girls wore TOWELS...with something about BSB on them. But it definitely got Kevin's attention. No offense, but this concert is soo much better than N Sync. The special effects - lights, smoke, surfing, flying - were HOT! The boys actually got dressed underneath the stage because there was no way to get out of there. Anyone know who won the WBLI or Z100 contests there?

"Go Fatima is the first home video from choreographer Fatima. Available December 14th 1999, "Go Fatima" will feature Fatima teaching the steps to the Backstreet Boys "Everbody (Backstreets Back,)" Aaliyah's "Are you that somebody," and a brand new routine. "Go Fatima" will be available at retail stores such as Blockbuster, Tower Records, Musicland, Best Buy, Target, etc. and through Fatima's website.

Hey for you Spanish speaking fans, Backstreet Boys are on the cover of Teen en espanol. It has a few pages on them. They each ask the boys a set of questions. And then they have a page of them when they were in NY. It shows them singing and bowling. I don't know long ago this magazine came out, but it's the first time i've seen it. It's the September issue. Well its nice so go and check it out!

Colorado- Students at Columbine high school staged a protest today against the popular "boy band" the Backstreet boys. They are asking that all teens not purchase their CD's, albums, T-shirts or attend their concerts. This protest and voicing comes just days after the MTV music awards where the band performed. The BSB performed one of there hits and came out on stage in dark trenchcoats. One student from the rally was qouted as saying. " We feel they(backstreet boys) were mocking our shooting incident." The costumes were considered to be in very poor taste and a very slap in the face to those who suffered and died in the terrible incident. The students have formed a committee to consultant an attorney to see if any charges could be brought against the band members for their distastefulness. The members of the band could not be reached for any comment. A publicist with the band states that this was not a malicious punch towards the students or families of the high school. The BSB states they feel as if they have done nothing wrong and plan to vehemently defendant against any legal action taken.

I have heard a few fans have heard Mandy Moore announce on a radio interview that she will be joining BSB on their North American tour as their second opening act. The first being EYC. Mandy Moore is a 15 year old dance/pop singer and sings the song 'Candy'.

Nsync has allegedly moved to Jive records, according to MTVNEWS 1515 the Backstreet Boys are NOT happy about that. Well who knows?

Backstreet Girlfriends Marissa of AJ, and Samantha of Brian, books will be released this Fall. Do you really wanna buy these books? I reccommend if you want to read them, browse through it in the book store, but don't fill the money grubbing women with cash.

There will be no programs available at concerts for the u.s. tour which kind of sucks, but there's lots of EXPENSIVE memoribilia you can buy. Plus you get some free stuff too! NO CAMERAS OR AUDIO VIDEO TAPE RECORDING IS ALLOWED, well that's what they say, but half of the arena had cameras anyway.
