Chi-Chi was sent home yesterday. Ike was right there beside her every moment of the day. He refused to eat or sleep, and as you could imagine, he blamed the whole incident on himself. Her ingeries bad, the worst was that broken leg. I guess she can't go try on her swim suit now, can she?
Megan and Zac are getting along well these days. They talk on the phone or are out at Lazer Quest 24/7! Megan was on the phone again with Zac when Emily walked by.
"Why Zac? It's onlt 7. We don't have to be over there for dinner until 8:30." Silance on this end while Zac was talking.
"Well, sure. Hold on." She turns to Emms who now had an interested look on her face. "Emily, do you want to come with me to the Hanson's a little early? Zac and Tay want to show us somwthing."
"Okay, I'll go get my shoes and tell grandma. Say Hi to Tay for me." Megan shook her head yes, and went back to her conversation.
The girls didn't even have to ring the doorbell when they got there. Once they set foot on the first porch step, the door flew open. There stood Zac, red faced as if he had been running. Then, a moment later, Tay was standing behind him, just as red.
"Come in, please, the Hanson House welcomes you." said Zac in a very fake French accent.
"Cut the crap Zac, come in, we'll go upstairs for the grand tour first, starting with bedroom, ending with the reason we asked you over early."
Mrs.Hanson walked in, "Hi girls, you must be the famous Megan and Emily."
"Yeppers, thats them, bye mom see you later, adios, love yous."Zac sayd in a very hurry your poor butt up and get out of here voice.
"Okay, I am going."she gave Tay a look which Emily thought mean, "Be Careful or you'll get it".Tay gave his mom a "this little angle? No way" look.
"Lets go already,"said Zac who hadn't noticed all the looks being passed around. And up the stairs they go.
When they stepped in to the room, Emily's eyes got real big. Tay noticed and smiled to himself. Megan took one look at the room, then whirled around so she was facing Zac.
"This has got to be the neatist room there ever was, "said Megan in complete shock."You'd think the room of the Hanson brothers would have clothes on the floor, beds unmade, empty soda cans and chip bags. I am shocked!"
"Well, actually,"said Tay going over to his bed and lifting up the comforter, so that the girls could see under it,"we just shoved every piece of trash we had under here."
"Good Idea, we should try that sometim,"Emily said to Megan, who was now grinning from ear to war, and trying to hold back a laugh. She looked over at Zac who now saw what she was smiling about and burst out laughing.
"What already?" said Tay looking at them. Zac just pointed to Tay's head, and laughed harder. Tay had a banana peel stuck to his head. Tay reached his hand up to pull it off.
"Jees, how'd that get up there?"He said as he looked up to see Ike sitting on the top bunk just above him eating another banana.
"I'll get you for that, just you wait and see, Affe."(Affe is monkey in German.)
"Ssure you will! Hi Zac, Emms, and Meg. How are you on this nice afternoon?" Ike said with a smile.
"Just fine, and dandy thanks."answered Emms. "May we go see the rest of the house now?"
"Sure, I guess." said Zac. And off they went to tour the rest of the house.
After seeing the rest of the house and dinner in 30 minutes, the whole troopp went upstairs to the bedroom again. Megan and Emily sat on the floor, Zac and Tay sat beside them, and Ike on the top bunk.
"Meg, now for the surprise, I have got a question for you." he leaned over to whisper,"Would you please go out with me?" Megan just looked at him with the yes look in her eyes. He didn't see this because she was leaning closer for a kiss.
"Emms, your turn." he crawls over next to her, and whispers the same qeustion Zac asked. Emily put her arms around Tay, and just stared in his eyes, and leaned in to whisper, "Yes". But just then, the door bell rang and Chealse cam into the house on her crutches. Emily just glanced at Tay and mouthes yes, then added a smile with a cherry on top!
Chi-Chi called Ike downstairs, then once at the bottom, he swept her off her feet and carried her up the stairs, where he dropped her on the bed. "Guess I know what questions you asked, but I am a step a head of you. Cchi-Chi and I have been going out scince the first night at the hospital." He leaned in and kissed her on her forehead.
"Kids, dinner!"Mrs.Hanson called from the kitchen. "Let's go eat!!"yelled Zac jumping up from the floor where Megan was sitting on his lap, dumping her onto the floor."Sorry, let's go eat, I am hungry."walking out.
"Always"muttered Zac.
