Setting: 8:00 the next morning
Ring, Ring, the telephone rings loud and clear fron Emily's room.
Megan runs to get it.
"Hello?"
"Hi!" says a very chipper, very awake voice on the other end.
"Who is this?"
"Zac, of course,"awnsers the very awake person,"and we Tusla people are up at 7, so get use to this."
"Oh, hi Zac!" Megan brightens up very quickly.
"I was wondering if you would like to go to the arcade with me today, maybe I could meet you at theIce Cream Parlor at 10?"
"Sure"
"K, see you later then"
"Bye"
"Bye"
15 min. later (8:15)
Ring, Ring, Chelsea picks up the phone.
"Hello, this is Chelsea, and if you are trying to sell me something, I'm NOT interested."
"Hey, sorry , this is Ike."
"Oh, hey I'm the one who's sorry. What's up?"
"Well, I was wondering if you would like to go see the town today."
"OK, I'll meet you at the I ce Cream Parlor at 10."
"Sounds good."
"See you then, Bye."
"Bye"
15 min. later (8:30)
Ring, Ring, Megan picks up the phone again.
"Hello?"
"Hello, is Emily there?"
"Yeah, hold on," Megan yells up the stairs, "EMILY!!"
"I'm comin',"she yells back.
"Hello?"
"Hi, is this Emily?"
"Yeppers, this is she"
"This is Taylor, umm, I was wondering if you would, maybe, come with me to the pool today?"
"Sure, love to."
"Ok, meet you there at ten"
"K, bye"
"Bye"
