Chapter Twenty-Eight....
I can’t believe that I’m doing this!!!” I said to Gemma “This is
breaking and
Entering!!” I said. I felt really guilty but I really wanted to find out
why.
“So how’s your boyfriend Aaron?” Gemma said as she was fixing something
for me
to climb up to Rikki’s open window.
“I’m not going out with Aaron!” I said.
“Really, you spend a lot of time with him, it almost seems like you are
going out” She
said. “Well, I guess when you spend a lot of time with someone of the
opposite sex,
people may think you are going out.” Gemma said.
“Yeah” I agreed with her.
“ Chloe`, that was a clue about Rikki’s thing for you!” She said.
“What!”
“Just climb!!!!” She said “And remember to keep your walkie talkie on”
She
reminded me. I began to climb up. I got to the top.
“Okay Gemma where is her diary?” I whispered to her through the walkie
talkie”
“Up the top of her wardrobe, in a Converse shoe box. Do you see it?” She
replied.
“Yep” I said, as I got down the shoe box, took out the small diary and
put the shoebox
back where I got it from.
“Bingo” I said.
“Read it!” Gemma whispered. I opened it up and found the first day we
met her
Dear Diary,
Well, I met her today. She was with Taylor and Zac.
Chloe` Bannick, one of
the prettiest girls I have ever seen in my life, and he was with her, as
he would be.
She was so nice! If I didn’t have to hate her, I’d make her my best
friend!! Tay goes
on about her so much, he really loves her. He says were alike, and we’d
be great
friends, but I have to be ruthless.......”
“Chloe`!” Gemma whispered into the walkie talkie. “Time to make a mad
dash!!”
“I haven’t finished reading” I said.
“Take it with you!! Hurry, there almost home!!!” She screamed in a
wisper.
“There on there way home!!! I thought you didn’t want to miss one of
your soaps!” I
said scurrying around.
“Chloe`!!!”
“I’m coming” I called from the window “Catch this!” I said throwing her
the diary
and the walkie talkie. I could hear footsteps coming up the stairs and
Rikki’s voice, so
I just jumped from the window (Ouch!!!).
“Run!” I said to Gemma, and we did we, ran all the way home.
