"Children of the Burning Heart"

Signs of Life Steven Curtis Chapman Tabbed by Matt Wright (hottie6781@hotmail.com)

This a great song with a cool minor 7 key. It's my favorite yet. These are power chords meant mainly for electric, but you can substitute them for regular chords or just play the way it's written on the acoustic.

Capo one (chords relative to capo)

Intro riff:(with palm muting)

the dark, children of the burning heart

For the second verse and the second refrain, it's the samee. But the interlude is where it gets tricky:

D5................D5............G5 Bm5 A2

For the electric guitar, this is what it plays when it comes in on the second part of the solo (guitar two just plays the samee as above during this):

e-----3-2--------------3-2-----------3-2-------------3-2-3/5-

b---1--------1/3-----1-----1-------1-------1/3-----1-------

g---------2------------------2-----------2-------------------

d-0----------------0-------------0---------------0-----------

a------------------------------------------------------------

E--------------------------------------------------------------

Then: Bb5 C5 D5 Eb5

Then chorus again. The rest is easy. That's it! If you have any questions email me at hottie6781@hotmail.com. God bless!
