Welcome the section where I point out the proof that Leo Corbett and Kendrix Morgan really love each other, using pics from some of the episodes I mention here (not up now, because I can't remember how to put them up, but I hope to have them up soon), borrowed from various websites (the only one of which I can remember is Rachel's Imagination).
First off, is Quasar Quest. When they first met, Leo had been running away from Terra Venture's security and had slammed, full speed, into Kendrix. When he helped her up, their eyes met, and sparks flew.
Next is a scene that happened a little later in the same episode. Leo had stolen a soldiers uniform and had reluctantly joined them in a last minute training mission on the moon. There, he saved Kendrix's life, to their mutual delight.
Then, in the episode "Lights of Orion", after they beat Mutantrum, a monster who had impersonate Mike through most of the episode, Kendrix successfully tried to cheer Leo up, and ended up flirting with him a little.
Then, in the episode "Orion returns", when Kendrix slapped Leo's hand away after he tried to snatch some frosting from Damon's cake, though she only looks back to glare at him, at one split second, you could almost swear that they were going to kiss.
And who could forget the scene at the beginning of the episode "Destined for greatness", when Kendrix found Leo waiting for Mike? I sometimes wonder what could have happened between if he hadn't shown up when he did (and if Saban hadn't refused to keep putting off the romance until it was too late).
Then, later in the episode, when Leo and Mike free the others from Skelecron's mirror shield, who does the former run to? Kendrix, of course, and a romantic moment follows, only to be cut off by Saban (again).
Then, in the episode "Stolen beauty", Kendrix sure looked jealous when "Tracy" captured Leo's (as well as every other guy on Terra Venture that had seen her)attention.
Next up, is a little scene at the end of the episode "Heir to the throne". Leo and Kendrix sure looked awful comfortable sitting back to back, didn't they?
At the end of the following episode, "An evil game", Kendrix sure did seem happy that they found Leo, didn't she?
When Kendrix "died" in the episode "The power of Pink", Leo was the first of the approaching Galaxy/Space Ranger teams to shout out Kendrix's name. Mere coincidence, or did Saban do this deliberately? My own opinion should be obvious, but I leave the answer to that question to you in your own minds.
The next bit of proof never occurred to me until Ray Calderon pointed it out in his review of the episode "Until sunset" on his PR Central website. Leo sure did seem to have taken the hope that Kendrix was still alive and that she would be back agains someday to heart, didn't he?
And finally, when Kendrix finally reappeared at the end of "Journeys end", Leo had put his hand on her shoulder almost lovingly. She looked back, and their eyes met, proving, once and for all, that, even though she "died", their love for each other never did.
