Welcome to the "My thoughts" section of Critics corner. Like I said, this is where I review Leo/Kendrix fanfics written by other people and put up here. I review by stars, 1 being the worst and 5 being the best. I judge by length, grammar, and (of course) the overall storyline. Again, nothing personal to anybody I give negative reviews to. Most of the time, low star ratings is given because of length (or lack thereof) and how much I have to clean it up (spell checking, bad paragraph separation, etc.) before putting it here.
This section will be updated even less often than any other part of the shrine, because of my rather erratic work schedule and what passes for my personal life. And there will be only 1 or 2 reviews each update (for instance, there's only 1 review to start). Anyway, here goes...
Sparks, written by Niobe Craft, was, to my knowledge, the second Leo/Kendrix story ever written, a mere feat by itself in my account. A little short, but, overall, it’s a really excellent story to read. So good, in fact, that I give it 4 1/2 stars. The only reason I don’t give it 5 is because of lack of length, but I’d like to think that it's still a good rating.
I admit I goofed, as Matt, aka Blue_Ranger, told me that, with the story I just put up, the trilogy he had planned is finished. I'm going to give the finale a little time to settle in, before I review it.
Emerald J’s short songfic “Are you a ghost?” has to be one of the best Leo/Kendrix stories I’ve ever read. It's a bit short, but it more than makes up for it with a touching story and awesome monologue. I give it my first 5 star rating.
From my first 5 star rating, to... well, anyway, “Love is all it takes”, written by Hollytiger, has to be by far the worst Leo/Kendrix story I’ve read. I give it my lowest possible rating 1 star. And since I don’t want my first story withdrawal, I feel I must add this: Holly, if you see this, please don’t take my bad review either personally or even seriously. It’s just for fun.
