1. W. B.1 Weeks was born Abt. 1835 in Alabama, and died between 1880 and 1885. He married Parmelia Francis (P. F.) Hill Bef. 1864 in Alabama.
     Notes for W.B. Weeks:
     By 1880 the family was living in Coahoma County, MS, along with their five children.
     Notes for P.F. Hill:
     Also living in Coahoma County by 1880 was P.F.'s mother, Martha Hill, and some siblings, along with a brother, William.
     After W.B.'s death before 1885, P.F. married a man surnamed Hodge.  They had two children:  Kate and Emmet, born in the late 1880s.

3 ii. Martha Susan Weeks, born October 14, 1866 in West Point, Mississippi ?; died December 31, 1927. She married James H. Jennings in 1888 and resided in Quitman County, MS.

4 iii. John G. Weeks, born 1867 in Mississippi. He married Mattie.

5 iv. Charles Weeks, born 1874 in Mississippi; died in Vance, Mississippi. He married Jenny Sprewell.
        Notes for Jenny Sprewell:
        Jenny (wife of Charles) and J. H. Jennings (husband of Martha, sister to Charles) were cousins.

+ 6 v. Joseph Edward Weeks, born February 15, 1879 in Friars Point, Coahoma County, Mississippi; died August 12, 1958 in Clarksdale, Mississippi.

2. William James2 Weeks (W. B.1) was born 1865 in Alabama. He married Molly Johnson.

     Joe, Sr. had a gristmill, grocery store, and farm.

     Joseph and Maude had twins born dead before Maude and Claude -- and also one other baby born dead.

     Mammaw loved to cook and take care of the house and yard. She always had a flower and vegetable garden. She really enjoyed the flowers, and the vegetables were also a joy to her. She had heart disease in her later years, restricting her activities, and she could not enjoy being outside so much -- but her children and grandchildren always remembered to send her flowers for occasions, which she dearly loved.
