Easter weekend 2001 we went to see my niece Charissa who is in the Air Force in Biloxi, MS and do some camping. The photo's below are of a car taxi trip we took across Mobil Bay from Dauphin Island, Alabama to Ft. Morgan, Alabama and drove on into Florida.
We took a tour of Ft. Gaines on Dauphin Island prior to our car taxi departure; Ft. Gaines was full of Civil War history and re-enactments took place the day we visited.
