Also check the dimensions of the hallways, stair and door widths leading to the space to make sure that the furniture can fit through them.When you begin painting, view your space like a painter looks at a piece of art and use painting techniques to accomplish visual interest. Balance your furniture pieces so that a harmonious atmosphere is created. If you have a fireplace, emphasize it as a focal point in the the room by adding a scale sized piece of art above it. Add in accent pieces that match your color scheme to finish the room.
