CHAPTER RULES and REGULATIONS



GUIDELINES FOR PROCESSING OF APPLICANTS, AND BONAFIDE MEMBERS

Any member in good standing may recommend or endorse a person (male or female) of good socio-civic background for membership provided the following criteria are met.
1. At least 18 years of age.
2. Of good moral character and have not been convicted of any crime.
3. Have fully accomplished bio-data and submitted all the necessary forms and documents.
4. Own the necessary communication equipment and/or facilities.
5. Endorsed by at least two (2) regular members in good standing. Each applicant is required to submit the following: a) Police and/or NBI clearance; and b) Certificate of Residency from the Barangay.
6. Have paid necessary dues and fees: a) Processing Fee P100.00; b) Membership Fee P500.00; c) Monthly Dues P30.00.
7. Must come for an interview with required 4 pcs. 2 x 2 and 4 pcs. 1 x 1 ID photo in folder.

APPROVAL AND REJECTION OF APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP

The MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE composed of the chairman and four (4) committee members shall with in ten (10) working days act on the application of the recommendee.
Upon approval of the application by the membership committee a temporary call sign or A.K.A shall be assigned for ninety (90) days probationary period.
All application rejected shall be returned together with the registration fee paid. A rejected applicant may re-apply after three (3) months from the date of rejection should the above requirements are met.

CRITERIA FROM PROBATIONARY TO REGULAR MEMBERSHIP

1. Actively participates in Environmental and Ecological Operations of the Chapter.
2. Maintains “good and clean moral character”.
3. Promotes brotherhood and stands for the rights of his fellow member.
4. And above all, promotes leadership, discipline and respect all senior and recognized officers and members of the PHILIPPINE CIVIL COMMUNICATIONS INC.
5. All probationary members are required to make research / study to improve the objectives / direction of PHILIPPINE CIVIL COMMUNICATIONS INC. in its:
a. Socio-Civic Activities
b. Health Programs
c. Fund Generation
d. Integration and Expansion of Members and Seminar programs.

BENEFIT OF ACTIVE REGULAR MEMBERS

1. Regular members shall exercise the right to participate in the activities to achieve the common goals and interest of PHILIPPINE CIVIL COMMUNICATIONS INC. including availment of
a. PHILCCOM ID
b. Accreditation ID’s
c. Compliments, Certificates and Awards Earned
d. Attendance to Seminars, Training and Other Social Functions
2. Gain Personal Development
a. Enhance Ability to Deal and Communicate with Public Officials, VIP’s.
b. Gain Business Contacts and Avail Special Treatment for Personal Interest.
c. Develop Skills in Using VHF Radio Transceiver.
d. Gain / Share Talent / Skills and Resources to the community and others.

TERMS AND CONDITION OF REGULAR MEMBERS (STATUS QUO)

All members are expected to comply with the rules and regulation of the PHILIPPINE COMMUNICATIONS INC., Chapter 21.
Any violation committed will be subject to the following penalties subject to the recommendation and approval of the Ethics Committee:
1st Offense – Warning
2nd Offense – Suspension
3rd Offense – Dismissal
The Ethics Committee shall summon any member who commits any violation for the first time and shall require him/her a letter of explanation with in seven (7) days. Failure to submit the letter of explanation is admission of guilt and penalized under the discretion of the Ethics Committee.

CLASSIFICATION OF PHILCCOM 21 MEMBERS

1. PROBATIONARY MEMBER – new recruit
2. BONIFIDE MEMBER/REGULAR
a. Active
b. In-active
c. AWOL
d. Suspended
e. Terminated
3. HONORARY MEMBER

QUALIFICATION FOR REGULAR MEMBER

1. Good standing as probationary.
2. Support and participate all programs and projects of PHILCCOM.
3. Obey the rules and regulations of PHILCCOM 21.
4. Recruit a new member that can share his/her talent and resources for PHILCCOM 21 activities.
5. Can refer a donor, sponsor for PHILCCOM 21 projects like (medicines, chairs, equipment, facilities, and finance).
6. No derogatory records, No delinquent accounts.
7. Attend all meetings of PHILCCOM 21 and pay membership dues and other assessment of the association.
