This Weeks Recommended Entertainment

I have my opinion, you have yours. These movies, books and CD's are what I am obsessing about this week in no particular order except how they popped into my head. Obviously, some things will never change (read: Star Wars, LOTR, Bon Jovi, Stephen King, Shyamalan and Burton,you know, the classics). However, I will keep finding new treasures that I can't live without. As my moods change (and they often do) so will these lists.

Theatrical Blockbusters and Hidden Gems

• Saw and Saw 2: yikes
• The original House on Haunted Hill
• The Changeling
• Back to the Future, watch it again with your kids
• Secretary: does it make me a submissive because I like this so much?
• Indiana Jones: nothing better when you are bored and alone
• Angel: TV series, man do I miss you guys.
• Armageddon, Independence Day, any end of the world movie that you like...can you say guilty pleasure?
• Elf, yes last year's Will Ferrel Christmas movie...still hilarious
• Big Fish, better the second time around.

Books and Short Stories

• READ THE DaVINCI CODE. No I am not paid for this, I seriously love this story no matter who researched it.
• Any book full of erotic short stories that you can get your hands on, thank me later
• Catcher in the Rye, JD Salinger, cliche maybe , but I love it
• On the Beach, I forgot the author, very real and very upsetting
• The Unexpected Dragon, Mary Brown
• The Talisman, Stephen King/Peter Straub
• Read a classic once in a while, Twain, Dickens, Stevenson, Bronte, etc...hell even Shakespeare.
• The Lorax, Dr. Seuss

CD's, Records, Singles, whatever you can find

• Guns n Roses: get ready cuz Axl is back.
• Black Label Society's In This River
• Puddle of Mudd, She Hates Me, great to sing really loud
• Rearviewmirror, Pearl Jam, say goodbye to the assholes you left behind
• The System Has Failed, Megadeth (entire CD)
• She's Almost Perfect, 3 Doors Down, hey that's me!!!
• Slipknot's Subliminal Verses vol 3. Awesome, and I hardly say that.
• I Wanna be Sedated, The Ramones, great way to start the day
• Avantasia's Reach out for the Light is AMAZING!!!
