I am very much into anime, my favorite anime show is DragonBall Z. I watch it every day. I played every game that has come out. Here is some stuff about DBZ.
The Story Line
DRAGON BALL Z is the story of a fearless defender named Goku, his beautiful wife Chi Chi, their son Gohan and a handful of friends dedicated to defending the Earth and that is good against the treacherous forces of darkness, as embodied by the evil Saiyans. The evil which lies within the hearts of Saiyans is so strong that they have only to send one of their kind to bring about the destruction of entire planets. But the Saiyans quickly learn that darkness is no match for the spirit of righteousness that burns brightly withinb the hearts of individual like Goku -- those dedicated to a cause.
The saga begins with the arrival on Earth of Raditz, a Saiyan who reveals that he is Goku's older brother. Interrupting the Great Peace, Raditz sets in motion a great battle between good and evil which moves mountains, changes the course of rivers, and even alters the Earth's weather patterns. Before he is ultimately defeated, Raditz reveals that a contingent of Saiyans even more powerful and treacherous than he is coming to Earth. All that stands between them and their takeover of the planet is the small, but determined. band of heroes led by Goku.
It is extremely ironic that Goku should be the one to lead the stand against the aggression of the evil Saiyans, for he himself is a Saiyan, a secret that he only now learns. He was originally sentto Earth as a baby, programmed to destroy the planet as he grew up. The plan went awry when he was discovered in the wilds as an infant by a peaceful old man who raised him and changed his life -- and destiny -- forever. A near-fatal head injury scrambled Goku's programming, leaving him innocent and pure of heart, Earth's ultimate champion of good. While both he and the beautiful princess Chi Chi are young, Goku saves her life, and she grows up to become his wife. A loving partner and a doting mother, Chi Chi raises her son to use his brain rather than his brawn. Peaceloving and pure of heart, Chi Chi is also a formidable martial artist who can defend her loved ones against the forces of darkness.
Gohan, Goku's and Chi Chi's young son, is the shining hope ofthe future. Blessed with the best qualities of both his parents, he is pure, honest and trustworthy. Peaceful like his mother, Gohan rises to the defense of the Earth when the future of the planet becomes threatened by the Saiyans. His life is lived somewhat in conflict as his peaceful nature is often challenged by the evil forces which constantly pose a threat to mankind.
Master Roshi is the wise and ancient master of martial arts who trained Goku to be the champion he has become. Now extremely old, Master Roshi has lived on a deserted island for many years as a hermit, but is still an extremely powerful channeler of energy. In fact, it is he who taught Goku and his ever-faithful friend, Krillin, the Kamehameha, an energy force which is so powerful that it can destroy mountains. The cause of good is indeed fortunate to have Master Roshi on its side. And Goku is fortunate to have as his confidante, Krillin, a short, bald, and extremely tenacious defender whose loyalty and dedication are unequaled.
Krillin originally studied martial arts with Goku under Master Roshi, and the two were fiece rivals, but after seeing how strong the Power of Light burned within Goku, Krillin began to hold Goku in very high esteem. Now the two are the best of friends, working side by side against the evil that threatens the harmony of the planet.
The second strongest being on Earth is Piccolo. Once Goku's sworn arch enemy with his own evil agenda, Piccolo has joined forces with the powerful defender in order to defeat the greater and more powerful evil of the Saiyans. Once Goku's son, Gohan, begins to build a strong emotional bond with Piccolo, the alliance between Goku and Piccolo grows even stronger. Should the day come when the Saiyans are forever driven from the Earth, it remains to be seen what will happen between Goku and Piccolo.
Handsome, brave and strong, Yamcha happily joins with Goku in his noble quest. Usually accompanied by his devoted feline companion, Puar, Yamcha harbors a not-so-secret crush on Bulma. Tien is an intense man with three eyes whose power is so strong that he can crush rocks on his head or stop a waterfall's flow. Joined by his princely companion, Chiaotzu, Tien readily accepts the challenges of the small, but determined band of defenders he has joined. And then there's Yajirobe. Officially, he's part of the team, but he's also the first one to head for the sidelines at the faintest mention of battle Ñ but make no mistake, Yajirobe is there for his comrades when the pressure is on.
Rounding out the contingent of heroes who strive to rid Earth of evil and darkness is Bulma. A misguided woman whose personality is sometimes hard to take, she is gifted with incredible determination and technical talent. A mechanical genius who can fix and operate anything, Bulma is fiercely dedicated to the cause of good, and is a valuable member of the team.
The Namekians, those people from the peaceful planet Namek, are an interesting and introspective race. Their hierarchy is based on the villages in which they live, each governed by wise and revered Elders. Physically,the Namekians are best described as a combination of reptile and insect -- green, and able to regenerate limbs. Each is born to preform one function in life. For example, one is a soldier while another is a healer. They were born to do this, and they will do this until they die. The people of Namek are dedicated to peaceful living.
Quite opposite from the Namekians are the Saiyans, who are evil to the core. They are the strongest and most powerful force of darkness ever to enter the universe. Born long ago to a primeval force on a farway planet, the Saiyans grew into a warrior race so devastating and relentless that their own planet, Vegeta, could not survive the centuries of destruction. Ultimately, they united into one unbeatable and overwhelming force.
Now a supreme warrior race, holding conquest above all else, the Seiyans are obsessed with continued training to become even more treacherous and deadly. Targeting other planets, the Seiyans leave choas and destruction in their wake. They have subjugated the peaceful people of the universe, and have destroyed those who dare to stand up to them, Now, they have set their sights on Earth as their next, and greatest, conquest.
Led by Vegeta and Nappa, the Seiyans arrive on Earth. The evil Vegeta is intent on obtaining the Dragon Balls so that he and he alone can become master of the entire universe. With unlimited capabilities to create evil Saibaimen soldiers, Vegeta and Nappa launch their attack against the Earth, only to be resisted by the small band of fiecely determined heroes who bravely stand against them. The ultimate battle between good and evil has begun, with Goku and the others commited to defending the Earth against the otherworldly invaders.

Goku
Goku was taught martial arts by his late adoptive grandfather, Gohan, who raised him out in the wilderness. He is extremely strong, agile, and virtually fearless. He'll take on any fight no matter what the odds are if he thinks that someone has been wronged, and he'll usually win. That's because Goku is not just you typical eight-year-old. He sports a tail, is able to fly short distances, and carries a magic fighting stick that stretches to incredible lengths. Goku is the hero of Dragon Ball Z, the most powerful warrior on earth and the first to become Super Saiyan in over 1000 years. When the Saiyans arrive, Goku learns the mysterious secret of his own past: he is a Saiyan formerly named Kakarot. Goku was sent to Earth as a baby to grow up and destroy the planet, but a head injury as a child scrambled Goku's programming. Instead of growing up to become a destructive super-warrior, he became innocent and pure of heart, fighting for good. Goku is peaceful, good natured, honest, loving to his family and friends, loyal, trustworthy, brave. If he has a weakness, it is his trusting nature. He always finds the "good" in people when others don't see it, though Goku's enemies sometimes take advantage of his naive trust. He originally trained under Master Roshi and wears his symbol until he trains under King Kai, whose symbol he wears. Goku grows up and marries Chi-Chi. Together they have two sons: Gohan and Goten. With Baby and Super 17 destroyed for good, Goku hopes that he may finally be able to call upon the Eternal Dragon to restore peace to the Earth. But what Goku got was the shock of his life! The Dragon Balls have changed and have given birth to 7 evil dragons that begin to pillage the planet! Goku must defeat each dragon if he is to return the Dragon Balls to their normal state, but with each dragon being tougher than the one before, Goku's most dangerous adventure could be his last!
Vegeta
A very strong warrior Vegeta is the son of King Vegeta the King of all Saiyans. Vegeta started out as an evil character but when he learned Frieza had killed his father and all of the Saiyans except for a small hand full he tried to gather the Dragonballs on Namek to with for immortality. Vegeta didn't get his wish but he did help a lot in destroying Frieza but was killed by Frieza when he went into his final form. Vegeta was wished back soon after and saw the very end of the fight between Goku and Frieza he saw Goku had become much stronger than him and gone Super Saiyan he hasn't stopped training since. After Frieza is beaten he waits for Goku's return from Namek on Earth and becomes one of he good guys and starts a calm life with Bulma and his son Trunks and later his daughter Bulla. As Vegeta's years go by, he get's older but still trains and fights when needed. Vegeta marvels at how powerful Goku has become, not to be out done Vegeta survives the process of becoming Super Saiyan
Gogeta
One of the most powerful characters in all of Dragonball/Z/GT, Gogeta is the result of the fusion of Goku and Vegeta. Gogeta appears only in DBZ Movie 12, "Rebirth of Fusion! Goku and Vegeta!!", and in GT. Goku and Vegeta must perform the fusion dance, a technique taught to Goku by Kami, in order to become a warrior many times more powerful than either Goku or Vegeta alone. Gogeta is a totally different person, and so his personality is completely different than either of the two Saiyan's that fused to become him. Gogeta's power is simply enormous as he takes out Janemba effortlessly in DBZ Movie 12 after reaching Super Saiyan 2. By GT, his power is almost beyond comprehension as Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Vegeta fuse to create Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, probably the most powerful character in the entire history of the series. His special attack is Big Bang Kamehameha. The only reason that Gogeta does not completely obliterate Syn Shenron (the one-star Shenron) is because of his own cockiness. Gogeta toys with the Dragon and wastes time until he defuses (after the set half-hour fusion limit) before he can finish One-star Shenron.

As the strongest being in the universe during his time, Frieza is solely responsible for the destruction of Planet Vegeta along with almost all of the Saiyan race. He and his armies purge planets of life, and sell them to the highest bidders, or he may just blow it up. Frieza sees himself as the most powerful being in the universe, with no equal. Frieza's greatest fear was the Saiyan race, not only because they were the strongest species he had ever encountered by far in all the universe, but he also feared them because of an ancient legend among their people. Because the Saiyan race was already so powerful and great in number, Frieza could not believe how powerful a Super Saiyan might be, and so this is why he decides to destroy their planet. It was said that every few thousand years or so, a super-powerful Saiyan was born to their people, the legendary Super Saiyan. After he hears about the dragonballs, he travels to Planet Namek in order to wish for imortality. When he is on Namek he encounters Vegeta, Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, and Krillin. He has several forms in order to conserve energy, and rarely uses his true form. We see all of Frieza's transformations and he is forced to go to his highest level in order to beat the Saiyans. After a long battle, he is defeated, but not killed, by Goku. His father (King Cold) finds him, nearly dead, floating near the remains of Planet Namek and takes him back to his planet in order to save him. After being restored with robotic parts, Frieza and his father travel to earth to exact revenge on the Saiyan that beat him and it is there that Frieza finally meets his end by the blade of Trunk's sword. After Frieza is killed King Cold trys to recruit Trunks to work alongside King Cold as partners. Trunks obviously refuses and kills King Cold easily.

The most dangerous of all Dr. Gero's creations, Cell, was created in Dr. Gero's lab as a genetic experiment. He comes complete with a self-destruct feature, a scorpion-like tail that opens up to absorb the energy of his opponents, and instructions to wreak revenge on the Androids which caused Dr. Gero's downfall. Cell contains the DNA of the mightiest warriors of the universe including Goku, Piccolo and Vegeta. Possessing the DNA of these great warriors, Cell is able to fight with their attacks. With these great forces combined Cell is an almost invincible being.One of his greatest advantages is being able to regenerate himself at any given time from even the smallest component of himself. We discover this in Dragon Ball Z when the good guys believe Cell is destroyed, only to find out that a brain cell has survived. From this cell, Cell regenerates himself and appears out of nowhere once again threatening Earth. One of Cell's only weak points is that his energy is finite. He gains power by draining the energy of his enemies using his scorpion-like tail to do so. Cell has three forms: the imperfect form in which we first see him, the second stage of Cell, and the final or Perfect Cell. He reaches Cell Stage Two after absorbing Android 17. When Android 18 is consumed, Cell changes into his third and most powerful form: Perfect Cell. Cell can and does create smaller versions of himself. Cell eventually dies from a one handed Kamehameha done by a very injured Gohan, and a little help from Vegeta.
